I have a pretty much identical picture of me with Chuck E., except this was only a couple years ago, so I was 24. :)
All the future boys in her life would never know they would have to compete with the first love of her life. Chuck E Cheese..their attempts to woo her came woefully short..Those teeth..that style!
Oh wow, Chuck E. Cheese. They had the best ball pit EVER, and a million corners that you could hide from your parents in. It's been at least 17 years since I was there... Incidentally, Chuck is far less frightening than the Wall E. Weasel of The Simpson's notoriety.
alfway across the country that way until, finally, when they realized that in most states, speed limits don't apply to rodent drivers, she was able to convince him to take the wheel despite his amblyopia and his inability to control the steering wheel due to his almost constant, massively oversized erecti
Chuck E. Cheese had hit rock bottom. The recession was hitting him hard; people just did not seem to want rodent-based entertainment these days. It got so bad at times he was comtemplating taking his own life. Until one day, sat in his car, a small child came and spoke to him. Seeing Chuck was all sad, the child placed her arm on his shoulder, and told him how much he really meant to the children of America. Touched by the ramblings of this tiny human, Chuck took stock of his life, and realised maybe it wasn't so bad. To make one child smile became enough justification for him to carry on, and he did so, for many many years.
Incidently, the child later went on to distrust rodents altogether when she let her pet gerbil (also called Chuck) have a go at driving her go-kart.
Wow! Chuck E. Cheese! I never had a photo with him but I always wanted to see him personally. I was really his fan
LOL, Farmer. .. and she can't keep her eyes off of it!
I haven't seen a chuck e's with a BallPit in forever! do any of them still have ball pits? (although they're total petrie dishes, they sure are fun!)
My 5 year old daughter and her four year old friend got beat up by some little $#!+ in the tubes at chuck e cheeses last time I was there. The manager figured that a balloon and a cotton candy would make it all go away. Didn't try to find the assailant. My daughter still has bad dreams about it.
As a parent whose child is invited to at least one Chuck E Cheese birthday party a month; I can confidently state that CEC is the Seventh Circle of Hell.
My daughter is getting married today. Looking at this picture make me SOL (sigh out loud) and think how quickly time passes.
First it's a ride with Chuck E. Cheese, and the next thing you know, she walking down the aisle with the man of her dreams....
Chuck E. Cheese was off-duty that day, so he was just wandering down the street when a little girl drove up in a car. "Chuck E. Cheese?!" she exclaimed, opening the passenger door. "Do you need a ride?" She ended up driving him to the plastic surgeon. He said his cheeks were unusually bulbous.
Aw. I still have these same pictures of my kids posing Chuck E.
Farmer and Muse made me LOL this morning. Thanks!
Fooch: congrats on the wedding!

M-O-U-S-EEEEEEE
I have a picture just like this of my daughter (when she was 3) with Chuck E. Cheese. I would be sad if I lost it because it was so cute. Hopefully the parent of this child is not wishing that she didn't lose this picture.
Have you ever seen how many people just leave their kids' Chuck-E photos in the photo drop of the machine? On the machine, or on the floor next to it? It's actually kind of sad. But I gues not everyone is a collector of memories and nostalgia.
One of the pictures I have of my daughter in the Chuck E mobile features a VERY intentional photobomber boy in the back. After I saw that on mine, I observed the little urchin for a few minutes. He was just hanging out behind the machine, putting himself in other peoples' "treasured" Chuck-e-cheese memories! (looking back on it, it's actually pretty funny.)
It's Thelma and Louise heading to Retroville! Road trip!
Chuck looks kinda worried there. And the girl looks like she is comforting him. This is a great find.
Just heard about this site from watching 20/20 Fri nite. The finds are funny...but I've been reading everyone's comments...those are hysterical! I love that I've found kindred spirits.
Spam protection: spell palindrome backwards...its harder than it looks
Welcome, New Found Fan! Just wait.. before long, you'll be able to spell emordnilap without even thinking about it! (and just why the heck isn't palindrome a palindrome?)
When you have time to kill, I highly recommend reading ALL the Finds (and comments!)type "bigger is better" into the search box over on the left and it'll direct you to 9-23-2001, the "first" Find on Found. (there used to be a different one, but it's gone away.) The comments don't go back that far, but it's still fun to check out all the goodies.
@ Fooch ... Congrats!!
@ Farmer ... reading your remarks in the same comments column with the repeated references to a "ball pit" has me re-thinking the whole set of formative influences I gave my children by taking them to Chuck E. Cheese and similar places
...remember that car scene out of GARP?
