We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
Bi-Plop is the sound you hear when you and a neighbor use a two hole outhouse together. City folks may be confused now.
This is like the written version of say this five times fast. I know I will always StopD-RoPRoll if Bi PLoP is in the area. Hopefully I'lL recog-nize that piecE of Sh!t.
I do like the little stick man drawings...gotta assume it's a man.
I like how they tried to differentiate between the 'drop' picture and the 'roll' picture by drawing the arms of the figure sticking up. Interesting.
I reckon bi-plop is meant to be bi-polar and stop, drop, roll is what he feels like when he's hit with one of his down times.
Only one Find today? I can't seem to find the second one. Could someone post the title, if there is one?
This is actually what Japanese beetles do when you try to snag them off the rose bushes in your garden. Try it next summer when they're back in large numbers. Put a bowl under the leaf the little buggers are on, and then come at them from above with something to smack them into captivity in the bowl. A large number of them (the ones that were paying attention in safety classes, I guess) will pull in their little legs and roll off the leaf, hoping to drop to a lower leaf and safety (hence your bowl to catch them).
I don't know how young Japanese beetles fare when there are garden fires, though.
This was the last piece of choreography Merce Cunningham was working on. Oh, God forgi'e me...
There were 3 little stick men.
Two of them hit the deck "Plop - Plop." - thus bi-plop.
Seems pretty straight-forward to me.
the roller looks like he is practicing the sky diving position
speaking of merce cunningham, Ian. Nary a mention of him on So you think you can dance, wednesday. I would have thought they'd say something, since there was such a big hullaballoo when MJ kicked it.
anyway, love the drawing, i adore how this kid portrayed the rolling character.
This procedure is not accurate. It should be "stop, drop, and roll, and keep rolling til the flames are out." (One of the main reasons my generation abhors polyester fabrics.)
Pop lock and drop it...
we just pull up our pants and,
Do the Roc-away.
Now lean back,
lean back,
lean back.
And I'm thinking that the scribe on the original manuscript here (Biplop, I guess his/her name is) is going to be author of many Finds in the future.
I mean, look at her copying skills! The closest to the original is the first line, but that has an uppercase R (DRop instead of Drop). And the accuracy tails off from there.
Look for more homework from this kid in the future.
Unless these are actually Chuck Norris's script cues from his last movie....
Obviously, "Bi Plop" is the name of the band, and "Stop Drop Roll" is their new single / dance craze! Get with it, man.
today's second find is titled "Drink More Ultra"
These are also instructions for feeding the pigeons in the city park.
Due to the sensitive nature of this material, the author has used code name, "Plop." In order to further confuse the uninitiated, "Bi" was used in place of "By."
Nice interpretations. I feel much better about Biplop now.
stop drop roll
stop dop roll
stop d-rop roll
stop-drop-roll
actually in the stop d-rop line the - angles and makes the line read like it comes from a condescending old lady, or a bad pop song
@ Cyndi We smartasses are always willing to enlighten. Would you like to know anything about ceramic cats?
(slam a spider bite..
drop top: chug chug chug)
Did no one else notice the stick man has junk? I feel like a perv now...
I always wanted to know how to correctly divide the word 'roll'.
Maybe he's biploplar ...
