I collect found notes, but I found this on a light pole recently and it is one of my favorites. The house was nearby, and I was VERY tempted to knock on the door, 75 cents in hand.

We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
Oh my.. My name on the sidewalk!! I am so there!
(in my neighborhood, you can get your face painted, or even "tattoos" with either crayola markers or sharpies. Sharpies cost more, because it lasts longer.)
You missed a grand opportunity, my friend.
I wonder what the "and more" means? At first I was thinking that the name on the sidewalk would be carved into wet cement.
I guess plain old Kool-Aid stands don't cut it anymore, with all the competition.
Sharpie face painting, Captain? That sounds risky.

I can't find the exact info on it again, now. But if I recall correctly, the woman jumped from teh Empire State Building. A photographer just happened to be walking by. I love how serene she looks, on top of the crumpled car.
I think she also left (or had on her) a note to her boyfriend.
