in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
This was found in Philadelphia on the sidewalk on the 1400 block of Lombard St in June, 2004. I found it terribly amusing in that "the information you shared with me will remain confidential and will not bee seen or read by anyone but myself," but I found it folded in quarters and laying on the sidewalk.

We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
I found this particulary entertaining because i live less then 10 blocks from there
its funny, my aunts name is nancy, and my sisters name is angela
Angela seems so overly professional about this. The fact that she typed the note, used proper formatting rules, and used words like "confidential" and "information" says a lot about their relationship. She even said "thank you" rather than the more friendly and casual sounding "thanks!"
I bet there is a really awkward story behind this note.
It IS strange that the letter sounds so formal and official, then ends with "love always,..."
Odd juxtapostion. I wonder if Nancy demanded assurance, in writing, that Angela wouldn't blab...
I wonder if it was Nancy who lost this, or Angela.

I actually feel kinda bad reading this... it's like you can imagine the shame poor Andrae went through when she couldn't save just 3.50 for a gym suit, and was assured that no one else would read or see it, and then it's posted on Found for everyone to see...
What in the world? Are you all reading the same thing I am? Has someone edited this find? I don't see the names "Nancy" or "Angela" or the words "love always" or "thanks" anywhere on here! Weird....
I too see something totally different than the earlier comments. I think what happens is that the "find" gets a certain name when added to the image folder (such as "confidential") and it replaces an earlier "find" with the same name. I've had that happened on my website when adding pictures...
I'm seeing something about someone's mom not being able to afford $3.50 for a gym suit because the dad is recovering from a mental break down.

Cuz someone else has this find posted in a different year, and I was thinking, how the heck did two people find the same exact thing and end up posting it here 3 years apart?
