We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
whoa, that's a nice distortion
like what you would see in art
It is so cool! It reminds me of Edward Munch's "The Scream".
I totally identified "The Scream" too when I first looked. Awesome that someone else saw the very same thing in such a distorted image!
It's amazingly beautiful. I would frame it and put it on my wall.
Pffft, I can do that in photoshop, no problem.
So yo can do it in photoshop- SO WHAT? It is still beautiful
This is so cool!!!
ha! awesome.
Yeah it looks so much like The Scream!
Did the colours just bleed that way?
Uh so what if you can do it on photoshop.
That's pretty wicked trippy.
this is done my nature my friend
thats why it is so captivating
photoshop mimics nature
i cant see it very well its small, but you can seriously distort a poloroid by scratching it and mushing it while its developing, maybe that happened?
Morticia does "the splits" and birds pluck at her hair while an angry robot stalks away in the distance.
GrimReaper. Yikes
That's freakin' sweet.
I think it´s a car with a person in front of it. Very nice.
SO ODD. I'm tempted to leave a polaroid in the snow now...
if you look at it far away, you can see it a little clearer. cool pic.
Impresive pic, and wonder how it still could be in a good shape resisting the NY winter. I can compare it with everlasting relationship that never dies but they grow as years pass by. So the beauty of this pic is not the colours in it or who is in the pic, but the value of it is that it has resisted the TIME.I had a similar pic one in my room while I was living in b´ham and it was my inspiration every morning. But I had to look at it to get inspired, am not sure if this is applicable for relationships though
Am not sure whether the finder is the same guy I know...I wonder..,,nice way to get in touch with people though quite miles way from each other...DIRDAM
Cool! It's an impressionist Polaroid!
yes it is a person in front of a car, or was anyway. but too cool!!
OK, so it's not just me...my first thought was *also* Munch's "The Scream!" The lines, I think, and the tension. Great art by nature.
wow..
that's pretty. but i didn't think of the scream..
i'm not sure what the painting i'm thinking of is called, actually.
aw..
I love it.
Looks like a guy in a suit doing the Saturday Night Fever dance in front of his car!!
xx
DIRDAM, what makes you think this picture was found in NY? I don't see anything indicating that. Am I missing something? About the find, I love it. It's unlike anything I've ever seen.
You know what, I think it makes a bigger impact after being "under the snow" for so long......
we need to do this soon because sadly polaroid film won't be made after this year! it is very sad, especially when i see a picture so beautiful.
Trippy.
A Bird in the hand, as there was no indication, I just used my imagination in case this pic was found in NY and added some more value to it becasue I am quite aware of the kind of winter NY has.
However, what matters is the pic itself which is beautiful.

This picture is really beautiful. It looks kind of like an impressionist painting...or like shards of glass. Either way, it's really cool.
This picture reminds me of my own distorted memories
