No Eyes
FOUND by Andy Campsey in Brighton, England
I found this outside a photo-me booth in Brighton back in 1993. He's now with me out here in the desert in Dubai. I like how he looks down to his left in the second shot. Is he checking the operating instructions? Obviously all appeared well because he resumed his pose for the last two shots. And is that a cold sore on his lip or a shaving cut?

by far my favorite. both comical yet depressing at the same time.

This is great. I can picture him sitting there, checking the operating instructions, seeing that everything is fine, resuming the pose, stepping out of the booth, waiting the three minutes like he's so cool, checking out the prints, and just being like, "Dammit!", tossing them on the ground, stomping away...

This guy was definately trying to make some type of fake ID or passport. The same expression everytime? Yep, that's it. It's just too bad he sucks at it.

Sign Andy Warhol's name to this and you could sell it for a fortune. It's wonderful!

This man is so hot! I gotta know what the rest of him looks like! I've printed out the pictures a million times and tried to hand draw the rest... It's not working...

The First Men in the Moon
These are the photos people get for passports and occasionally other things of an official nature.

A shame cast-offs like this will soon be a thing of the past: in most of these machines now it shows you a video of what your head looks like on the screen, then shows you the picture before it prints it, and lets you take it again if you don't like it.

a bird in the hand
I don't know exactly why, but this almost makes me cry. Maybe because it epitomizes a sad, lonely existence...and, like, being oblivious. Or something. I dunno, I just want to help him.

I suspect he maintains the photo booths and had to take test shots, and that's why he's not emoting or putting his face in the shot.

I think that this is the loveliest of all finds. I hope he is happy, where ever he is.

Whats in a name?
I kind of feel like he was trying to be artistic. He knew exactly what he was doing when He did this.

Is it creepy that he's alone....or sad?
I can't decide.

Great guess Joey! I was trying to figure out why shots 1, 3, and 4 were identical. Usually you try and change up each shot or at least do something funny. He's just sitting there w/ a blank expression, not moving.

random in credibleness
It's like the movie Amelie.

He's not creepy or alone, he's not trying to take passport photos, he's not depressed. As Amelie said, he's not a ghost or a man trying to immortalize himself.

He's the man who makes sure the machine is working. He's testing it.
