We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
by far my favorite. both comical yet depressing at the same time.
This wins the prize for the most consecutive shots of a double chin.
this reminds me of amelie
This is great. I can picture him sitting there, checking the operating instructions, seeing that everything is fine, resuming the pose, stepping out of the booth, waiting the three minutes like he's so cool, checking out the prints, and just being like, "Dammit!", tossing them on the ground, stomping away...
Wowww, it does remind me of amelie.
or he taking pictures of his double chin to figure out how much he wants removed in lipo.
just a guess....
i think hes just a really tall, really fat guy. Come to think of it, he looks like my uncle Albert...
This guy was definately trying to make some type of fake ID or passport. The same expression everytime? Yep, that's it. It's just too bad he sucks at it.
Heis with you in Dubai, or the photos?
Maybe he was trying to inspire himslef to lose some weight? You know get rid of that Double chin?lol
Sign Andy Warhol's name to this and you could sell it for a fortune. It's wonderful!
This man is so hot! I gotta know what the rest of him looks like! I've printed out the pictures a million times and tried to hand draw the rest... It's not working...
what i want to know is why he's taking the pictures in the first place?
he's not smiling and he's alone.
kinda weird, but i laughed when i saw it.
It's Mr. Wattles!
this find goes great with http://foundmagazine.com/find/814
These are the photos people get for passports and occasionally other things of an official nature.
A shame cast-offs like this will soon be a thing of the past: in most of these machines now it shows you a video of what your head looks like on the screen, then shows you the picture before it prints it, and lets you take it again if you don't like it.
Actually, I'm pretty sure it's this guy...

I don't know exactly why, but this almost makes me cry. Maybe because it epitomizes a sad, lonely existence...and, like, being oblivious. Or something. I dunno, I just want to help him.
I suspect he maintains the photo booths and had to take test shots, and that's why he's not emoting or putting his face in the shot.
I think that this is the loveliest of all finds. I hope he is happy, where ever he is.
I kind of feel like he was trying to be artistic. He knew exactly what he was doing when He did this.
Is it creepy that he's alone....or sad?
I can't decide.
Great guess Joey! I was trying to figure out why shots 1, 3, and 4 were identical. Usually you try and change up each shot or at least do something funny. He's just sitting there w/ a blank expression, not moving.
