Parking Lot Anger

I found this parking ticket in the library parking lot at Cal Poly. I'm frustrated with the parking situation at my school too, and I'm happy to see that someone else cares.

We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
If the person parked without paying or without a pass, then it is them who is the asshole.
This is priceless you have no idea how fundamentally nuts the cops on campus are. they must pass each car every half hour just waiting to slam a ticket on them:)
It's either a piece of the script from "Plains, Trains & Automobiles" or the whole script of "The Blair Witch Project"
Parking Police must be like this on every campus. I know they were at mine. "Fuck your tickets." True true.

This looks like my ex-boyfriends handwritting, and something he would say...but alas, the asshole has no car:)
I got a $45 ticket for a)parking in a special zone and b)not having a permit for said zone.
I dread having to explain this one. I hate those campus ticket writers.
Last year some time my hubby and I got a ticket on the campus of his college. We had checked the sign and didn't plug the meter because it was after 6:00pm. We get back to the car and there was a ticket marked 7:25. We couldn't believe it. We contested the ticket and won. The next week the signs were changed. Metered parking is till 9:00pm now in that spot.
We still have the ticket up on our fridge!
There have got to be more important things campus police could be doing instead of writing tickets to poor college students.

I can understand this person's frustration. There are few student parking lots available at my university and the staff lots are never even close to full! And the rent-a-cops who drive around campus seem to live for the opportunity to write parking tickets - but there was a picture in our school newspaper last year of a cop trying to ticket a 'car' that someone had built out of snow. It was priceless.
oh how many times i've considered mailing those tickets back to them with an angry message scrawled across it. way to stick it to the man, man.

Your all idiots, If you park and don't pay, or park illegally and are well aware of it you deserve a ticket, there are rules for a reason not just to piss you off. Grow up, Be responsible and follow the road rules. It's people like that who get road rage and end up killing people over little things, humanity is disgusting.
