And Pass it to Each Other

I've known about your site for a few months. Thus, I was jazzed to find the attached 3x5 "Communion, worship, visitors' [sic] record" card in the third pew of Grace Lutheran Church in LaGrange, Illinois, my hometown. I was there for my nephew, Greg's, baptism at the 10:15 a.m. service on August 1, 2004. In an effort to distract my toddler son, Rudy, I pulled out this card for him to play with. Alas, Mary Claire and her bored Lutheran friend had beat us to the punch. Likely they attend my same grade school (Cossitt) or junior high (Park). Practically everyone who attends this church does. I wish them all the luck in the world with Joe and Kevin, don't you?

I found this highly amusing because I went to the same middle school and junior high. It's surreal.
When I went to church, We'd write on those cards all the time. I'm sure decades of puppy love and boredom find their way onto the church stationary...
Marie Claire is the best name ever. I'm semi-jealous.
I question this note, as the writing that says i like kevin and the writing that sasy i like joe.. are the same - check out "like".. perhaps some child imaginary friend?
Hopefully, this will teach note-passers the most important lesson of all: don't leave your notes lying around for neighbors to find!
(OTOH that would rob the world of much amusement. Nevermind!)
This looks JUST like my friends handrwiting. seriously! i even sent her the pic to see what she says. i SWEAR its her writing! even the pic of the eye. shes has an art degree....she has been known to draw noses, eyes, ears, etc. randomly.
I agree with Cara. Looks like one person wrote the whole thing.
Too bad church girls, Kevin and Joe are mine!
Someone in Chicage - Your friend has an art degree and can't draw a better eye than that?
Haha, I think its Kevin and Joe, from the Jonas Brothers.
I like Nick. >.<
I like how it says 'no' under the 'OK'. =]
@ someone in chicago- girl 1 (we dont know her name) wrote "I like" with a blank space underneath for "mary clare" to answer. "Mary clare" answered "joe, how about you?" so both of the "likes" ARE written by the same girl. but in all truth, this find is three years old at this point so im sure no one gives a shit.
