We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
Isn't that the Nun from 'Madeline'?...I didn't realize she wore spiked boots...hmmm
those boots were made for walkin'
That is the foot wear of the successful woman though that hair may have to go!
Any one else think she might be related to the Penguine as portrayed by Danny Divito?
...I like her arms.
or lack of arms...
Hey...that looks like an Orthodox Rabbi...

Hey...that looks like an Orthodox Rabbi...
Sorry for the 3xtra posts...OOOPPS!
Holly, Holly, Holly....Knock it off, babe.
I wonder how the FINDer -or the FOUND staff- figures this as a self-portrait. Couldn't it just be a portrait? Or just a drawing w/ no particular real subject?
One eye is bigger than the other. At least she's smiling. Kinda a boring find.
Starring Sally Field as 'The Flying Nun.'
and I'm thinking that if those horizontal lines are notebook paper lines, then the original isn't all that big. 10 cm., or 4 in., or so.
Anyone figured out what the print on the reverse at the top says?
you'd think those rich kids would be able to afford better art lessons.....
The boots make me think of Stevie Nicks. I'm not sure why.
I can't get the theme to The Flying Nun out of my head.
BTW
Them aint feet - them's horseshoe crab claws.
She's some sort of cloning disaster, I reckon'.
can anyone make out what it says on the back of the top?
No photoshop on this computer...
The arms make me think of thalidomide.
@wallowing
It says "Introducing our full s---- and health---"
That's all I could read.
Holy smokes - shouldn't I have something better to do?
@ Alan: what could you do that would be better than this?
It looks like she is wearing one of those funky hats with the floppy thingies on the sides.
Crab-Nun. Could this be the Super Sut?
This is the opposite of Hussy...Miss Crabby Two-shoes.
@ ferizzle - I thought she was the nun from Madeline IMMEDIATELY so it was funny to see your first comment agreed with me! :)
Looks like she swallowed an open umbrella. Hope it doesn't rain.
Ah! It's Sister Bertrille! Alan, would you pass The Flying Nun theme over here when you're finished with it? I can't seem to recall what it was, though I remember watching it (wasn't it on Sundays?) when I was younger.
Freonz
Listen at your own risk - it may stay in your head longer than you wish.

Awww this reminds me of my daughters many drawings of me. Except in hers she draws my husband next to me as like a little midget with me towering over him lol when in real life I am the short one lol
Awwww. Alan knows what horseshoe crab claws look like!!! I'll swoon if you know how the males and females can be told apart my their claws...I love horseshoe crabs. They were my favorite inverts when I worked at an aquarium in ME.
This drawing has totally inspired my outfit for tomorrow.

OK I'm going by memory without the use of the worldwide information superhighway interweb.
On a male crab one of their feet doesn't have the 'V' shaped pincher thingy - but looks more like a hitchhiker's thumb.
Is that close? Was I too technical?
Thank you, alan! Once it started I recognized it as something I'd heard before. But, I kept the volume low so it wouldn't get stuck in my synappers or neurotic neurons.
What I'm going to have trouble with, though, is this image of a nun and a seagull colliding in mid-air. Time for meditation and/or medication! 8D
A Nun and a Seagull colliding in midair would make a:
-nungull
-seanun
-gullnun
-nungullsea
-seanungull
-gullseanun ???
Nun with crab feet - horseshoe crab - blue blood - blue nun ... just my train of thought leaving the station.
seanun has a good ring to it :D
Good choice, Smallbear! Because aren't all nuns gulls?
*ducks and runs for cover*
I find it a little off putting that the finder (or finder's friend) describes the FIND location as "a very upscale shopping mall". Its as if he's telling us his mall is better than the crap malls we usually find things in. That doesn't make your FIND any better, John! How dare you.
tiffanyt, he's not doing anything but describing the location. Get over yourself.
Do you know why you always see two or more nuns together?
To make sure no one gets nun.
Two Scottish Nuns have just arrived in the United States for an extended stay. The younger of the two says to the older one, the Mother Superior:
"I've heard that in this country they eat dogs."
"Really?" replies the Mother Superior. "Well, when in Rome."
So, spying a nearby hot dog stand they go over and order two plain dogs.
The vendor prepares the dogs and wraps them in foil. Unwrapping her hot dog the nun looks it and in shock asks her campanion:
"What part did you get?
Two Nuns were cycling down a cobblestone street.
One Nun says to the other: I've never come this way before." The other Nun replies: " Oh, really. It must be the cobbles."
*Ducks the lightening bolt!*
Well done, Smallbear!
Sometime back in maybe May or even April a few of our regular and oh-so-clever and I'm sure very hot posters had a some good nun jokes. I was sort of hoping that they would come through for us again.
Two young nuns were assigned the job of painting a classroom as part of a general make-over during summer break, but Mother Superior warned them that if they got even one drop of paint on their habits, they would be severely disciplined. Thinking they were clever, they locked the door and stripped to their shorts, carefully setting their habits aside. After about an hour there was a knock on the door. The nuns nervously asked, "Who is it?" The person responded, "Blind man." Looking at each other and shrugging, the nuns opened the door. The man said, "Nice tits, sisters. Where do you want the blinds?"
On this very day I did not visit Found because as part of my summer cleaning projects, I was busy going through my daughter's childhood art work. Typical.
I like the boots. Very upscale.
I couldn't stop laughing ._.
i love this drawing. and her t-rex arms. very cute
