We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
this is adorable. i wonder who 'Ravin' is? i love this one.
I'm jealous. I don't know anyone famous!
I'm thinking "Ravin" is the character from "That's So Raven."
Spiner man would be my #1, too!
I wonder what Spiner Man's super power would be.
Eating Spinish.
This is so cute!
Spiner Man is, of course, Data.
This popped up earlier, and then went away but it now back again. My brain must be getting soggy.
Yo! Jason! This isn't a find, it's Platform 9 3/4!!
The only way to get here is to navigate directly to Foundmagazine.com. If you use the <- or -> you end up at tell her she's ugly or the torn scrap of brown lined paper. But you can't get back here unless you start from the beginning.
Oooo, spooky!
That's fucking awesome. I could sit here all day, reading it over and over and over again.
I remember how hard it was to spell "square" when I was a kid!
this is like..freaky, man. i thought i was going insane (not that finding the way back here rules that out)
I like spiner man, too, but spong bob scker pans rules, dude.
As we all know, Spider Man, Sponge Bob and Mickey Mouse are important Bible heroes....what ARE kids learning in Sunday School these days? LOL
Jen, I could spell "square" (I loved words with q
in them (sorry about the broken post, it went all by itself) but I could never manage "their" and "friend" until 8th grade. A teacher who was not usually my favourite person finally realised I really didn't know I was getting it wrong. I can still hear her voice saying, "It's fry-end" when I have to write it. Fry-end, the-ir. Thank you Mrs Kruse!
you add Copernicus to that list and there isn't much left to say.
I think Raven is probably a character from Teen Titans. It's a cartoon about teenage superheroes featuring Robin and five or six others.
The letters are very well formed and the writer chose the correct consonant for "sponge" (I hope this wasn't a young adults Sunday school class). A friend of mine who teaches says half the students can't read cursive.
Jesus didn't make the list. Doh!
Spam protection: What is 45 divided by 3? "7 plus 8" didn't work. Stupid spam protector.
I got here from the gadget on my Google homepage, otherwise I didn't see it at all earlier today.
I don't like spong bob scker pans. I want to punch him in his crabby patty hole.
I wish I knew Spiner Man!
@Terrie- Sponge Bob can actually be quite entertaining for adults watching TV with their children when your alternatives are, say, Barney(gag), Elmo(retch), or Teletubbies(WTF?).
I'm 24 and still laugh out loud when watching SpongeBob. My mom thinks I'm crazy.
Rumor has it that Bob Sucker Pants isn't sponge-worthy.
I've watched all of those shows, MLM.
Teletubbies first came out in the US when my kids were really little and they loved that show. On top of that, I have watched other small children over the years, so I've been relentlessly subjected to children's programming. Don't even get me started on Hip Hop Harry, I want to punch him in his hip hop harry hole.
I think the Spongebob cartoon is funny, I can't stand the characters' voices. I feel very much the same about South Park, funny show--irritating voices.
@Terrie- Thank God my son is now 4, so he is pretty much past the Barney and Elmo phase, but when he was smaller, he LOVED Teletubbies. I could only watch it with him once, because it made me feel like I was tripping on acid (without all the fun stuff)...I do agree about Spongebob's voice, though. It can grate on the nerves very quickly. Patrick's laugh, however, has been imitated in the grocery store by my husband several times. LOUDLY. Sending me running for the next aisle...
I hope "Ravin" is from Teen Titans, too- Not That's so Raven. It probably is, since this gives off a "boy" vibe to me, and no self respecting boy should be watchin' That's so Raven...
Who do I know?
Wundr Wmin,
Acka Man,
the Man form Atlentis
Goofy
Mom.
I can't believe it took Dudley four hours to figure out what "scker pans" meant. Even with the hints you-all gave. What a dope.
Spiderman: Way gay. Costume looks like something a professional wrestler might wear.
Mickey Mouse: Pantless and gay decades before anyone used the term to mean anything other than happy.
Sponge Bob: An acknowledged gay icon; but why?
Raven: Gender confused, possibly gay, definitely emo.
Teletubbies: Tinky Winky is so gay even televangelist Jerry Falwell noticed and complained.
So unless you want your son to become a florist....
I'm off to save the day!
I had the same thought as Freonz. Brent Spiner's character on Star Trek was originally going to be called Spiner Man, but at the last minute was changed to Data.
Great minds think alike!
Spiner man, Spiner man, does whatever a... spinder can
This really made me laugh. So cute. And I was happy to see a find from Edmonton! Woo!
This is a sweet note. I miss my boys making notes like this. And for the record, I watch SpongeBob with the dog (she likes it). Ok, maybe not as much as I let on. But don't tell anyone...
Dang, had to get the calculator out for the spam question. Brutal.
It should be "whom", not "who".
let's do the time-warp again!
Brent Spiner as Spider Man! HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!
Oh, oi! Thas a food one!!
LOLOLOLOL
food!
HAAHHAHAHHHAAAA!!
Oh, OH Please, you're kklingon me!!!
