I found this at the post office. I was standing in line and it was either forgotten or discarded with a stack of envelopes. I hope Anne appreciates the journal Carolyn apparently gave her, poor Carolyn and her messy soul!

Wow, I love Carolyn's note...I, too, think my soul is a mess, and think that if I could just sit down to write I could find some tranquility. Hope it worked for Anne at least.
How do you know it was given to Anne?
The explanation says 'I hope Anne appreciates the journal' and that it was found with a stack of envelopes, so it probably was still in the envelope with Anne's address on it.
That actually reminds me of some of the bizarre things my grandma wrote to me when she could still write. Makes me a little sad...
