We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
"I am smart" HA! know he isn't an smart person.
It sounds like the poor kid is mildly retarded. I feel kinda bad for him.
It's funny because we all know he didn't get a response from this one... and the girls probably just laughed at...like we are!
ohh no it is so sad it almost hurts
"description of self: what my parents do for a living."
i go to East High school where this note was found...
yea, i gotta say i'm not surprised, we got some real winners there.
hahahaha
hey did you guys see that all the people who commented were mostly a names and almost the same????

This guy is so money it's ridiculous.
Danielle....I went to that website and I must say that the kid talking sounds really creepy. Almost like a future Ted Bundy or something.
DAMMIT! Finally my dream guy, and he's in Colorado.
Desperate?
Maybe the poor bugger has just had his fill of judgmental, fake, "cool" kids. If he was on Oprah telling his story all the "A's" probably would be crying for him!
This reminds me of when i was younger, at the beach. A developmentally delayed guy sat next to me, and said he just broke up with his girlfriend, and needed a new one, and would i go out with him. This is definitely something along the same line. No social skills, some typing ability, and no sense of self. I hope he does find someone, people like him just strive to be normal.
wow this is a tresure.
I need a boyfriend.
But maybe one who can spell? That'd be nice.
What a love. At least his heart is in the right place. He doesn't cheat or beat. Which is more than many other guys can say.
More power to the poor little doctor and insurance agent's son.
Some mean, stupid kids obviously typed this up to embarrass poor Jaree. I hope they DIE!!
Wow, I imagine this is how my ex-boyfriend would have described himself... but he WAS all those things. "Methinks thou protesteth too loudly..."
I want to give this kid a hug and some words of advice, but I'm pretty sure he'd grab my ass or something worse...
Everyone deserves love, some just go about it differently. Since when did it become wrong to express that need aloud? As socially inept as this person may be, I hope he is not alone.
This is the exact same way I met my wife. I stood on the street handing out similar notes. I got beaten, twice. The second time was bad. I went to the hospital and the nurse was very nice. She set me up with her sister who was kind of fat but really nice. Ten years later I married her cousin. She was nice too.
Adorable. Although I think it says "I have a bunch of money so don't worry about if I am broke or not" not "so don't worry about it." Grammar, schmammar. I'm in love.
My favorite part is that he says "A description of myself; my dad is a doctor and my mom is a insurance agent." Ha. Good description of YOURSELF. :)
Also like "i am not violent. i am nice."
Who says "I am not violent" unless they are often accused of it? Yeesh. Scary.
My first impression of this find was that it was written by a young boy. Perhaps it found it's way to the sidewalk outside of East High School, but was not actually written by a high school student.
I'm not sure how they do things in Denver, but around here it is not uncommon to find public elementary, middle, and high schools all located on the same road or within close proximity of one another.
Another possibility is that an elementary or young middle school student left his "personal add" on the bus. Here, the local high school uses some of the same buses that run the middle and elementary school routes. Maybe the note found it's way to the high school via bus.
Anyway, it's sweet if it was written by a young boy.
Slightly depressing, but still sweet if it was written by a special education student.
Or a bit of a nasty prank if Jaree is an actual student there. A funny, perhaps well deserved, mysterious prank.
Sell it Jaree!
@Gemma - the nearest middle school that I can recall was a good 10 or more blocks away - East High had a big campus and far from the brightest students.
he's a real keeper, ladies.
Diz iz so sweet! i WanT 2 kn hU Diz iz.!.
"i no that i am a smart person!" well, we all know that you are a dimwit who should use the spell check.
