We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
Is Ross the sacrifice in some sort of apple-centric cult?
when i have something to do, i start scarificing right and left. it's actually kind of scary.
The reciever has to "make some scarifice" because s/he is on the makeup squad for the university play reprising "Scarface" and they have to get it right.
If "Ross" is the goal, maybe he's in the title role. Or perhaps this is written to the girl who's stalking Ross and her roomie is telling her that if she really wants to shadow him she's going to have to be willing to cut class.
It looks like the "You" in "You've" was traced over two or three times to make it bold. Maybe the writer was tiring of having to do everything for her friend.
If she had done this in Microsoft Word instead of handwriting it, she could have have hit "ctrl-B". But I guess her printer doesn't have an apple-shaped-Post-it tray, so it really wouldn't matter. Oh well... sometimes you have to make scarifices.
i really want "scarifice" to be a real word with a definition that is the antithesis to "sacrifice." anyone up for the dictionary game?

My guess: she's scarificing (sic) her best friend, because she knows she's that boinking her best friend's boyfriend (that would be Ross) is more than likely a friend-losing offense. Oh well. Friends are a dime a dozen, and Ross is Freakin' HOTT, man!

I love the way Ross is written (such flair), which makes me think that the goal is to get Ross (whatever scarifice it takes), rather than dumping Ross.

No game playing here: isn't a scarifice what you get when you scarify something ... as in scratching it so as to leave a scar ... as in tribal beauty markings ... body mod ... rather than a tattoo?

I know it isn't, but out of context this seems like Engrish. The way it is completely random but tries to make sense... and the punctuation. It looks like an exclamation point after the word "do". Lots of those in Engrish.

First I thought this was some Scarifice reference. Ross is the guy Tony Montana has to off in order to get out of the detention camp "I kill a communist for fun, but for a green card, I gonna carve Ross up real nice."
Then I realized Ross wrote the note. He left the goal blank for his slacker friend to fill in.

This note is probably referring to the Ross School of Business at Michigan. Since you apply during your freshman year, students go crazy trying to get in. And they stay crazy once they are there...I know from experience.
I can imagine this was written by a mother to a daughter, or by a friend to a girl friend. This girl has some weight problems, and the post-it was on the fridge :) Come on girl, let's have an apple instead of ice cream, Ross is going to appreciate your scarifice after a while!
Ross is the Michigan business school. I imagine this is someone who does not speak very good English and misspelled sacrifice.
