Balls

I work in a photocopy place and the other day I stumbled across this box of forgotten photos and papers. I had no idea they had sweatshops for making Christmas tree balls. I love her dress, and how they're drying the balls on long sticks, it really intrigues me.

We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
Jesus... I didn't know they had sweatshops for that either. Must be xmas balls heading for Walmart.
it kind of makes me sad. like an oxymoron: Christmas and sweatshop.

Check the label. If it says "made in China" (or "made in Taiwan, ROC), chances are very good that it was made in a sweatshop. At least these workers all appear to be adults, not children.
That doesn't look like the most exciting job in the world, but I'd hardly classify it as a "sweatshop."
I have to agree with the wolf-NOT a sweatshop... But still-BUY AMERICAN!

Yeah... not a sweatshop... just a factory for balls... I like the colors in the picture.
