Stepping Back Into the Fold
FOUND by Joshua Krause in San Diego, California
Just moved from New York to San Diego, and I found this within my first few days while walking by a bus stop.

Go back to NY. San Diegans hate new yorkers.

Hey Mick, it's wicked to hate that many people at once.

What do you think "bio chem issues" are?

I think she's saying that she has issues with biochemistry, perhaps with balancing equations, and thus has decided to pursue the field of canceling. For instance:

Al (s) + NO3- (aq) + OH- (aq) + H2O --> Al(OH)4- (aq) + NH3 (g)

This is a redox equation. One of the reactants is reduced and the other is oxidized. First, split the whole reaction into two half-reactions and balance them.

Then, if you recombine the two half-reactions, canceling out terms that appear on both sides, you should be able to balance both the elements and the charges.

Oh my. I must have taken piano lessons after all! I don't remember any of this.

I imagine it's someone who's going back to school. They're gonna conquer bio-chem once and for all, and pursue the field of councilling. (Maybe Mick should be their first patient...anger issues seem to be a problem.)

I would like to think that the bio chem issues of which they speak are a chemical imbalance and that the fold is some reference to going back on anti-depressants or some chemical regulating drug. Then pursuing the field of *counseling would mean this person is also considering therapy. A stretch , I know...

Thanks, Ancient Vivi, for refreshing my memory. It's all coming back to me now.
