So Are You a Seeker... December 30, 2001 |
We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
Wow, I sure would hate to be Leon... offending all those people...
There are a few people in my life that I know who could use a note like that...
That Leon is a bad egg.
How many wives does Leon have?
the amount of people affected by whatever Leon did - compounded by the fact that those people are all women - would imply that leon need's a bit harsher a reprimand thatn to "straighten it out."
wow, stay away from that guy... ladies you've been warned
Well I sure do hope Leon gets it together and gives up whatever addiction is causing him to hurt everyone in his life. The one in my life never did and I had to let him go.
Yeah, Leon, why'd you do it? I just don't know you anymore.
God damn. This man has fucked up but good.
(And you don't want a pack of 6+, minimum, women hell-bent on your destruction hunting you down.)
Wow, this one really spoke to you didnt it Jay in Respectful steel city
Can Leon be judged on the basis of this note? For all we know, he could be the innocent victim of a guilt-tripping, semi-literate, paranoid-schizophrenic.
An intervention note. I see them all the time. The person writing this note was writing to him/herself and was to be read aloud during the intervention. Of course, the note is a bit short, however it seems this maybe the introduction. Anyway, my two cents....I wonder if Leon and the generations that are and is to come are ok?
"Straighten it out Leon" implies Leon the Professional to me...
I'm guessing the writer of the note was Leon's mother. See how she saved herself for last in the first sentence, like "(and last but not least)...," but then, having owned herself hurt, she then starts off with herself in the second sentence? I find her mention of "widows" to be very ominous, as if it is Leon's fault that these women are now widows.
I doubt that anyone who knew Leon well wrote this note. Look at all of the open ended statements...I.E. Wives, children. She probably didn't know the specifics of his life or situations. This was likely written by an outraged compatriot of the victim. Someone who took it upon Herself to inform Leon of the damage he had done. Damage that he had better "straighten out".
I agree with Pat in St. Louis...
My first instinct though was that Leon sounds like a rapist. Ugh.
I know this man. He has no conscience. He has nothing inside of him. He has no guilt for the hurt he has caused women, children.
He has taken years of my life and destroyed them; I will never get them back. He has taken years of his childrens' lives, and they are now forgiving via the church.(at least 1 of them.)
This person now has addicted his new children to horrible drugs and 1 is in prison.
This person has murdered my soul.
This person owes so much to his children. He has ruined their credit by taking their ss numbers and the poor children have such bad credit and they are only babies!
I've only listed very, very little of the hatred and wrath at this person.
I use the word person rather loosely, he/it should be called monster.
New note:
"Have you notice that you are almost out of milk, bread, eggs, and hamburger? Would you want to be hungry for hamburger, chicken, rolls, and french fries? Why are you out of them, Leon? Go to the Store, Leon."
ps - i think he wrote that note himself.
Damn Leon! You cheatin on me!?!?!
