Burger
FOUND by Tom Finch in York, England, UK
I found this face down on the pavement. It was dark and at first I thought the burger was just the design of the postit note.

That burger looks so delicious! Is that lettuce or guacamole?

"Yes sir, yes sir, three bag chips..."
Never mind. Doesn't work. (However, Spam Q is "1+1+1 equals"--so yeah, 3 bag chips.

What I want to see is how this kid carries "pot gravey" to school for lunch. In the Thermos, maybe?

Somebody call Jamie Oliver!!

let's see... what do I want for lunches? oh! how about some bag chips!

no, no, bad idea... cross it off. I'll go for something healthy instead. Maybe some pot gravey!

Now what...? Hmm, bag chips! No, wait, I already nixed that... cross it off again...

3 bag chips! now that's what I really want.

Oh, and a BURGER!

OK Brits... One of you will need to explain "pot gravy" to me. The word sound intuitive, but I've found that doesn't always apply to British things. You know, it's that "two countries separated by a common language" thing.

I don't think it's lettuce or guacamole, but mushy peas.

Pot gravey is the gravy from a pot roast. No, seriously.

Unless of course, it's gravy flavoured with pot...hey, that would be good...gives "pot roast" a whole new meaning, dunnit?

I would think that the pot gravy is to go with the bag chips which may be french fries in a bag. You know how some people pour chili in a bag of Fritos? This may be thr British disgusting version of an American gastronomic monstrosity. Good looking burger though. I maintain several banks and I am going to start sending all of the ATM receipts I find. They are about as interesting as the Be back in 5 note.

Just me in my house
It's good to see that this burger has a bun and toppings with it. When I was in England with my husband, one day he felt like having himself a good hamburger. So we went to a restaurant and found a "beefburger" on the menu, so he ordered that. When they gave us our food all he got was a big patty of cooked hamburger. No bun, no toppings, no nothing. We didn't know if it would be polite to ask for a bun or not, so he just ate the thing. Weird.

@ Just me ... all of which probably just left the wait staff and cooks chuckling up their sleeves back in the kitchen: "Oy there, Alf, we got us another one of those 'Mericans on the 'beefburger' trick!!"

With those zigzags at the top,I keep reading the heading as "Munchies."

Well, I guess that's what they are, at that.

Mom Interrupted in the lunch ladies' head.
I thought "pot gravey" was an abbreviation of potato paired with a misspelling of gravy. One person wants potatoes and gravy while the other three people want chips.

So... My thought was that they would have had more time to write out "potato" in its entirety if they hadn't been so detailed on the drawing of the burger.

"I found this face down on the pavement." and I was really drunk ... and the note made me think... I'm really hungry for a burger - or grand slam breakfast at Denny's....

My local fish and chip shops offers a pot of grav(e)y.....well, it's actually a paper coffee cup with a lid stuck shut with tape full of delicious delicious gravy. It's so your chips don't go soggy from the gravy before you get home with them. Mmmmmm.....chips.

OCD-stoner-artists are the worst!!!

of course, they gotta make a list of what they ar gonna munch on, but then they get indecicive and cross it out. Then they realize how stoned they are and just want to get more stoned, hence 'pot gravey.' By that time they are tired and just want a fucking 'Burger!!!!' but first they gotta draw one in full detail.
