We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
A detective's notes? My guess is Wagner is now a wanted man.
Looks like a Harriet the spy note. Did you ever read that book?
Anne is right, haha. It reminds me of the Harriet the spy. Detective!
Wagner is obviously employeed at a department store, or the like. He is obviously also a work-shirking lazy bastard.
Looks to me like someone is a tattle-tale
thats my birthday!!
The two young women are now Rhinemaidens (and probably pregnant).
That Wagner, he couldn't leave 'em alone!!
Girls, I'm putting you in the fine gold section of our jewelry department. Wotan there will keep his eyes - I'm sorry - will keep his eye on the customers, but since his depth perception isn't very good, you'll need to be particularly wary of "little people" that might be shoplifters, OK? If you need anything, give me a ring.

Dear Co,
I don't think it was a coincidence. It is odd that the finder held onto it in order to post it on Feb 23, though.
PS- I think your name and location here was genius!
I really can't shake the image of Richard Wagner, the (long-deceased) composer. He's a tenacious old fellow, that's for sure.
As for the coincidence of the date posted, I've seen that coincidence on Found a lot -- enough times to make be believe it's not a coincidence. As Found receives way more than 365 items a year, I bet they have "Find of the Days" stockpiled, so that they are able to purposefully pair items with an anniversary of the date they were written.
Has no one here seen the deuceofclubs.com website with the many cross-country adventures of Wagner? That's what this recalls for me.
