We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
this is a block from my house
That is almost like a cry for help... telling her boyfriend she needs space. As if he is over protective of her.
Surrounded by people ("grandma and grandpa, Tonya, you and your friends") but soooo lonely. She wants some friends of her own, that she chose, and that chose her. I wonder what she sent him, and why it would stop her getting a job?
I love the mix of regular e's and Greek e's in the same note.
Mike, stop being such a control freak!
I lived (and worked) off Magazine St. She could have hung out with me and my friends.
Seriously...something about this note just makes me want to befriend her. She seems so uncertain, yet she's gonna follow her heart, wherever it may take her.
Why are these finds from 2006? I thought they all sounded familiar!
I too like the mixed styles of E's. (It always bothers me to use an apostrophe when pluralizing letters. I don't think it is correct, but if you write Es or es it just looks like you don't know what you want to say.) Anyway. I hope this girl found a fun job with good people. And maybe she can reconnect with Betsy on the internet.
Tonya... Harding?
I don't like to hang with her all the time, either.
