I Hate Bush!
FOUND by Fred Ames in Raleigh, North Carolina
I found this by a middle school / high school bus stop while walking my dog. I know - EVERYONE hates that a*****e Bush - but I haven't seen it expressed quite so well by a kid before!
Doctor Jones in dy
This is one great abstract. Couldn't have said it better. Good thing it will be over soon.

One of the things I like about the Found forum is there is more civility than on other websites, and discussions on lighter subjects. That said, I want to point out to Mr. Ames that not everyone hates the President. Spew your venom elsewhere. FARK.com would be a good place for you.

Monkey in denial
I'll point out to Mr. Geek that Bush does have the lowest approval rating of any US president ever recorded{around 25-27% if I remember correctly).
so it would be accurate to say the majority of people hate(or at least disapprove of) him.
and in some peoples minds; the majority = "everyone".

not that I agree with that reasoning. and I have no interest in a political debate on the subject of Bush. I also agree that this is not the place for that sort of "venom".

SO... basically this comment was just inspired by an attack of Pedantic-Assery.

Geek NOT in my mom's basement - who died and made you a moderator? You ought to be able to cope with some mild differences of opinion to your own personal world view without seeking to censor others.

The whole point of this found note is that it says I Hate Bush on it. How can you expect anyone not to comment on that?

PS I Hate Bush too!

Not to sound holier-than-thou, but:

It really bothers me when people use the word
"hate" to mean "strongly disapprove of." In my mind, James Earl Ray "hated" Martin Luther King Jr., and Osama bin Laden "hates" the United States. On the other hand, I "disapprove of" the current President, and I "am concerned about" Sarah Palin-- I really don't feel that I hate either of them.

I'll let a middle schooler slide, since they use words without fully understanding them, but when I hear an adult say "I hate x politician," it makes me assume you're someone that the secret service should keep their eye on.

I agree with Rin Tin Tin. Everyone is so politics-crazy that I just can't wait for the election to be over so we can stop hearing about it. Apathy is the real culprit here..so few people have a clue about what is really going on in the country and the world. How much disk space is left on your Ipod is just so much more important. @ Joh(n) - I heart Busch, too.

A story: A man that I dated and I used to quote beer slogans - if we were buying Rolling Rock, one of us would start "From the glass-lined tanks of Old LaTrobe..." or Stroh's: "The only fire-brewed beer in America!"

One night after... some fun, I walked back into the bedroom naked, with a Busch beer in hand. He looked up, said, "Love that Busch!" and of course, I said, "Born of Natural Ingredients!"

OK, I've waited 20 years to tell that story. Yay! I finally found a place.

Nice job flushing your case down the toilet by making ridiculously exaggerated allegations. I don't like the guy either - not one tiny bit - but this goes too far overboard for anyone to take seriously. I'm aware that it was written by a kid, but I'll critique it however I damn well please. How old do you have to be before it's ok to have political opinions?

Also, this kid's argument and line of reasoning seems to be on par with those of most adults I know.

On another note, I don’t consider eloquence or written proficiency to be interchangeable with civility; personally, I wouldn't consider Found among the most civil of forums.

Well. Kelly, perhaps you wouldn't blame Bush for everything, but if others want to, they can and for any reason they choose, stupid or not...that's America.

The way I see it, if you can take credit for the sunshine, you can take the blame for the rain, whether you're the President or God or a President who thinks he's God or a President who talks to God or President of the Gods...

I don't think Bush hates people based on race--I think he just hates people who aren't rich like him and his little buddies, and are thus of no political use to him. Though, pathetically, that does mean he hates a lot of people of color. Isn't it sad how this world works?

...I dislike Bush. But Bush is everything BUT racist. And... remember that Bush is the guy who will tell us what his little committee decided. He's not the only one making decisions. If you're to hate Bush, simply be aware that there are a bunch of people behind him who take these decisions.
