We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
I love that someone used the word desultory. It's so freaking random.
maybe they didnt know the definition of "desultory" so they wrote it down to look it up later.
MOM? random, I found your comment
I know exactly one person who uses the word "desultory" on a regular basis, and she lives in Ohio. And I spend time with people with vocabularies that far outstrip necessity. This makes me incredibly happy. Especially because "monica" called it random (hah! synonyms!)
"I lor"? "I bor"? What does that say? "I lov-"...
(and I agree, desultory is a splendid word.)
Great word. Especially for an author.

offspring, i love you.
De sultry desultory woman seemed momentarily disconnected from her passionate thoughts. Oh look! Cows!
Dearest John, I love you. No, wait. No I don't. I want to go home. Home, where the grass is green, and I can be happy again...
Why am I just so damn inconsistent?
Desultory - great word - hey is anyone else having a problem with previous founds? I was just wondering as it seems like we are going to be getting more snow today, and the roads are slippery. I hate that, but I hope lunch is good today.
