I Will Find You
FOUND by Madd Byrd in Manitou Springs, Colorado
I discovered this detailed instructions under the register at work. I keep it stapled to my wall so that it doesn't have to worry about being lost ever again.

It's like that wonderful Carole King song. You know the one: "You just meow out my name; and you know wherever I am; I'll come running; to see you again. Winter, spring, summer ..."

Freonz freak in g hallucinations
Wow! Who knew that chinchillas meowed? This has change my concept of the Order of the World. I'm going to have to meditate (or medicate) over this one.

In case you can't find me - I'll be a dirty crumpled bit of paper stapled to a wall in Colorado.

What kind of gwee is that on the paper?

In case you can't find me... here's my fingerprints to take to the morgue? Oh, and a cute little fingerprint cat to brighten an otherwise horrifying day?

Cat and mouse game? Did this kitty have a mouse friend and they were playing hide and seek?

Looks like a marmont to me

Beldar consum in g mass quantities
I like that extra N in cann't. It was obviously added as an afterthought: "no, the apostrophe goes in there to replace the O. And there's an N in can and an N in not, so wait. Yeah, I shoulda left both N's in!"

In case you cann't find me, I'll be somewhere quiet, anthropomorphizing and apostrophizing until 11 AM, pacific.

Oh PS, I LOVE that "I'm going to have to meditate (or medicate) over this one."

Smallbear in the Cave
Haven't seen an animal made out of a fingerprint in years. Not since Kindergarten, at least.

According to Urban dictionary a Gwee is either one of 3 things:

1). An exclamation of dismay or pain.

2). A random expression of joy or boredom.

3). Another word for elf, a creature of Germanic mythology which still survives in Northern Europe.

No no no.

Gwee is the unknown sticky substance you suddenly notice on your shoulder after a walk through the woods.
-or-
The stuff making your shoes stick to the floor after attending the circus.

Could be cotton candy or it could be...

Gwee is also frequently found in your fridge on the bottom of a bin.

Not to be confused with the Indian butter 'Ghee.'

You wouldn't want to eat this stuff...

marlee in reading the kid's page
This reminds me of the cartoon page that was a feature in the TV and radio magazine/guide my parents bought for years and years when I was a kid. The cartoonist would always include a tiny mouse somewhere in the cartoons, be it hidden in the leaves of a tree, in between things in a cupboard, hair or elsewhere. On the bottom, the page always said to "Find the mouse".

It started out as fun when I was little, but as I got older, I had this strange feeling something bad would happen if I could not find the mouse one day. Which resulted in sooo much lost time over a silly mouse.
The writer of this note probably had the same trauma and wanted to help others.
I myself started to circle the mouse in later years to save time (always bad if you get to the same page at a later time again and cannot remember where the mouse was and have to start all over again)....

@marlee . . . that's a child-sized portion of the traumas suffered by adults trying to find the hidden Ninas in Al Hirschfeld's drawings right up until his death in 2003. Drove people crazy sometimes.

I've heard of "cat-head" bisquits, but "cat-head" cryptic notes.. well, that's something else.

hahaha 'why is that bunny meowing?' I love it.

When did we start being able to have user names and stuff here? Damn, you go away for a few months and everything is different. I like it!

Hiya Turbo, I was really happy to see you were still here!
