Found this while doing roomchecks in the residences of Acadia University. A band camp had been staying in the dorms for a week, and I discovered this note in one of the rooms from a girls' mother.

We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
aww, just aww.
And this one time, at band camp, my mother sent me this note on ugly stationary...
I wish my mom wrote notes like this for me...actually, I wish she wrote notes to me period.
Aww, that is so sweet. What a wonderful mother. I hope that made the daughter's day.

Awww, that's great. I am sure Emily would have been mortified to have anyone see that at Band Camp, but I hope now she appreciates that not all parents do that for their kids. Mine did, and I only now appreciate it.
