I Love
FOUND by Leslie Stem in Queens, New York
Much of my daily quota of joy spouts from the things left behind by others. This note/poem/declaration was found in Queens en route to the subway from a lover's home, but not especially in love. It was a rainy day, and it just warmed me as nothing had in a while. While I could speculate on where it was going, whose hand provided it, etc., I think it's best left as wonderful advice, the kind of comment that unintentionally makes you reflect, shift, and say, "Yes, it is that simple, I can, and do love, too." The little hole is my doing, as I keep it on the wall. Enjoy.

This note reminds of a song I had written. It has a line that says, "It's not that hard. No, It's not so hard to be loved. You just love and you love and then you are loved."

Thank you for sharing.... this brought a much needed smile to my face this afternoon. Sometimes we just need to be reminded of the simple things... I Love. Why, yes, yes I do.

It looks like a child's writing. I wonder what they do love?

The first thing I thought of was it reminded me of when my son, Joey, was learning to write "I LOVE YOU". It was a huge goal and eventually accomplishment of his. It was rewarding for him to be able to write it whenever and wherever he wanted to. Learning to write "I LOVE YOU" is important!
