We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
no, you need water, trust me.
London is always the main ingredient in my foods.
where exactly was this found? was it found in a suburb of chicago....maybe arlington heights-ish? because when i was little my friend and i would always play restaurant and write out menus like this, so i'm just wondering.....
um........i'm pretty sure that this might be a list of things the person loves
Because of the writing style, I'm nearly sure that the author is a child. So why are they including wine on this list!?
I used to make little menus like this for my family! This is great!
Hot dogs and wine, my favorites.
I think this is a writing exercise--kid starts with one word, writes down another word the first one makes them think of, then a word *that* one makes them think of, and so on.
It's obviously a menu that a kid was creating. I used to do it all the time.
I think she meant French Fries... but forgot the fries...
As for the wine thing. Kids always want to be like their parents, and if their parents are drinking wine, or beer or whatever, they aspire to do the same because they are so eager to grow up and be adults like mommy & daddy.
This makes more sense when you notice "Desserts," "Wine," and "Food" are all written larger, as headings.
ohhh! Nice observation dyan. It does make more sense.
I think this may be a play menu. Some kids were playing "restaurant" and made a menu for it. How cute is that?!
At first I thought this was a list of desserts. I was looking at some found-shopping lists just before it. I laughed when it said french. Because I oddly thought of eating my french teacher...??
i think it is funny how the types of wine are "french" and "London." how terribly fancy!
The kid obviously wants to cook a romantic dinner for his or her parents. Trust me, my little sisters are obsessed with the idea of turning the tables and being the ones to cook and present the meal rather than just gobble it up.
haha! i love the "wine"....it looks like a little kid wrote it
Haha, what I love is that its Desserts, THEN Wine, and food is last. it's beautiful. and the only thing you can have for food is hot dogs. it's the best meal ever. :)
When i was little my brother and i, for my dads birthday, created the menu for his birthday meal. it included birdies(a dish my mom makes, not sure why their called birdies, its steaks stuffed with onions.) red dog beer, and pineapple upside down cake for dessert.
That's so cute! I hope my future kids have such nice ideas :D
...These are a few of my favorite thiiiings...
Maybe he/she was going to put hot dog water but then decided on serving the hot dogs themselves. Good choice.
I think they threw this out because they messed up and had to scratch out water. Scratched out stuff make it less fancy, and this is obviously a high class food plan, no room for mistakes.
Duh.
Hee hee, icecrean.
When's dinner? We always go where they serve dessert first. Good job on spelling Dessert. Quite brilliant.
This is the cutest. I used to love doing this as a kid. I bet the water that is scratched out was supposed to say watermelon and then she decided that it wasn't fancy enough.
This is totally a menu a little kid made to go along with the pretend restaurant she set up in her parents' kitchen.
blueberry wine is my fave.
The little heart design is cute.
I think the water been scratched because the kid realised it wouldnt be ont he menu since its "free" in any restaurant... dont you think?
This is obviously a menu...i used to do this all the time. Wine is the heading and blueberry, raspberry, french, and london are the types of wine available. Adorable.
I think she just realised water is not food.
I love her priorities. Also, she can spell rasberry but not icecream?
haha, she actually can't spell rasPberry.
This is exactly what my Valentine's dinner was yesterday. No wonder why I was so thirsty. After all that wine there wasn't any water.
"writes down another word the first one makes them think of, "
Oh, yes. I *always* associate ice cream with wine and raspberries with the French.
What child should be that familiar with what kinds of Wine she would like?
Apparently, the Aliens got enough water. Off 2 Mars!!!
I laughed so hard at everyone's comments.
I didnt realize it was a menu a kid made up. Pretty nice - but I dont know if i'd eat somewhere with out a side dish. Hotdogs and ieecrean just aren't enough for me.
