We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
Just a simple picture, but it is so, so beautiful.
um, i love this.
really.
This is a beautiful picture.
This is a great find.

These kinds of photos make me wax strangely nostalgic for a place, people, and time that I never knew. You can see why this photo was abandoned by the folks who once owned it, but you can still somehow see in it the life of one who was a life long gardener. I adore this photo... its mysterious and yet strangely familiar. Beautiful.

I love it.
Funny enough, this immediately reminded me of Because Of Winn Dixie.
I haven't read it in so long.
But I instantly associated the two.
"you can't see me"
I agree it does make me wax strangely for a time and place I've never known. What's crazy is someone threw this out because it wasn't a "good" picture.
a crude yet lily interpretation of blackface folded in on itself.
