I have to wonder if these folks are still alive. I think to myself..they posed for this. Where did it go once it was developed? Did they ever see it? WOuldn't they think it was crazy that this is posted here? I WOULD LOVE to find them and let them know!! If anyone knows them, write me at frozenglue@yahoo.com

this is so sweet. :)
They remind me of the Harlem Renaissance: enjoying an art and conversation filled evening in a sophisticated night club. They have a glamour about them... this photo is very nostalgia-inducing.
That guy looks like Son House.
The look so hip! I can almost hear Billie Holiday singing "Lover Man" in the background!
Wow, what an attractive, glamorous, happy couple!
ONE WORD = SNAZZY!
What a beautiful picture. They're both so happy in love and it shows - dolled up and steppin' out at some sophisticated night spot. I hope they're still together -- in this life or the next -- and have many happy children and grandchildren.
i love this photo. looks like it's a great time to be alive. martinis, cigs, hats. these two look very sharp. I pray they're still together.
this pictures is so sweet... just looking at it makes me happy. I hope they're as happy as they look now...
I love this pic...it's always great to see pics from Detroit
She's a public school teacher. He just got a job as a mechanic at the city bus garage. Their first child will be the first person on his father's side to ever go to college. The boy's mother was the first one on her side of the family. All the kids will end up going to college. He dies in the late 1960s of a heart attack. After that she moves back to her roots in North Carolina where all the kids and grandkids come for a family reunion every August. She used to make her famous fried chicken every year but her arthritis gets too bad some years and the daughters make it. When she dies in 2012 more than 100 people come to her funeral, which is at the church she went to when she was a little girl.
