Tongues
FOUND by Linda Rubin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin
I found this on the street in the late seventies. There are shoeprints on the back. My guess is they're sisters.

Who cares about their genes! This picture is simply adorable! I wish they still had it to remember the fun they were having that day.

I think they are best friends, and one of their moms decided to document this very special friendship, but when mom took the picture they couldn't be serious about it. They look too young to comprehend how pure and fantastic a friendship they have.
I can see one of them looking back at the picture and sighing over how innocent, trusting and close they were.
I used to have a friendship like that and out moms were always taking our pictures.

I love how the one on the right actually looks like she's having fun, while the left one looks like this is a normal activity for her.

I wish I still had a friendship like this. Too bad the picture was taken care of so carelessly.

Brandy Sadovnikova in Minneapolis, but from Milwaukee
My family is bi-racial. This is an interesting observation, Milwaukee is the most segregated city in the country. I'm also a photographer, this is incredible.

Definitely sisters. The older one looks bored, like "really do I have to be here now?" while the younger one has that mischievious little sister look like she's about to do something to terrorize her older sister. Pluse the fact that they do look very much alike and the one on the left looks at least 2 years older. I do love this picture though. It's the cutest.

I was imediately drawn to this picture, because the girl on the left looks like someone I knew when I was younger. When I saw that the discoverer was from my hometown I thought maybe it was. This picture was found in the 70's, long before my time, I was taking these kind of pictures on those streets many years after this one was found.

This has got to be my favorite picture on this site. I love it! It perfectly captures the moment and brings back lots of great childhood memories. I remember those days, and wearing shirts that were very much like the one on the girl on the left. For some reason, this reminds me of the 70's version of Sesame Street. LOL!

xyz, when someone has "black and white genes" it is called biracial.
This is the cutest ever. They are silly and happy. It made my day, thanx for sharing it! Wonder where they are today. Hope they are still silly and happy.

One tongue is up, one tongue is down. I want the shirt on the left! Or to have experienced the '70s.
