bored in in the office
What's hanging in the jock strap behind him? It looks like a midget bodybuilder.

baby basil in the herb garden
Kelsy, take another look...that's a plaid sport coat he's wearing (and a godawful plaid, at that). I know customs are different down under, but surely one doesn't wear plaid to a funeral!

Unless it was the funeral for his interior decorator...early 70's tacky, right down to the floor lamp. Yeesh.

Whoa. I'd love to know where this was found...that room looks just like the dining room in the house I lived in from 1984-90. (In Simi Valley, CA.)

I love this pic.....more importanly, who took it? It's a pretty cool moment captured on film.
A guy wearing a suit walks in the door, pours himself a scotch and is relaxing for the night.....but I dont think he's watching TV, the TV is right behind him.

I certainly wouldnt have thought of taking a picture at that moment! But I am glad someone did

There is a marionette and a picture of a panda hugging flowers on the wall behind him.

christiatric in tromaville
*laughing at the marionette and panda picture Tom just pointed out*

The caption makes me sad. It makes the man seem really vulnerable.

He should put on that crazy hat behind him (if that is indeed a hat by the window) because that would cheer him up.

I don't see defeat. I see a head and torso.

Is he doing what I think he's doing?
+ September 08, 2008 12:24 PM +
random in credibleness
That would be a no, Flargy, because he just got back from synagogue on Saturday morning and is disappointed about the lack of respect for the Jewish community in his small town. I can almost smell the tallis..

I think that story popped to mind because of a photo of my grandfather looking the same way and, according to my mother, thinking the same thing.

Good Lord it's weird.
