We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
beautifull soup, so rich and green.
Hehe, yay for the mock turtle!
whats he going with his hand? taking a photo of himself?
Everyone had the ol tupperware bowls back then.
haha IS he taking a pic of himself??? i like the wall paper
Barb, that's not Tupperware- it's either Melmac or Melamine.
Judging from the angle he's holding that camera (if that is, indeed, what it is) he'd only be taking a picture of that lovely Melmac bowl.
camera? Isn“t that a music cassette? The type we used before the CD came along ;)
this looks just like a younger version of my health teacher, mr. dedent. i wonder....
oh you kids. what he's holding looks like an instamatic film cartridge. however this photo was shot with a brownie.
What I really like just as much as the photo is the fact that the finder kept this picture for 30 years. What has it been up to in the meantime? Waiting in a box in the attic for an opportunity such as this website provides? Framed and hanging on the wall?
Linda, is it possible that it was an instamatic camera that you bought at Goodwill? Thirty years ago is a really long time ago. Do you still have the camera? I think it looks like the guy is taking a photo of himself in the mirror. Like the MySpacers of today, ahead of his time! But who has a mirror like that at the dining room table? Anyway, I really like this find!
