A Real Little Scot
FOUND by Eric A. Garcia in Fayetteville, Arkansas
Wal-Mart used to have a little plastic box that said FOUND PHOTOS. We used to take the ones that looked interesting. Here is one of my favorites. The back reads "A Real Little Scot".

Reminds me of that Diane Arbus photo of a baby Anderson Cooper...

ok, so picking something up is one thing, but some old lady probably drove back to wal-mart, left turn signal on the whole way, and walked all the way to the back of the store with her cane to reclaim her photo that she carelessly lost, but it was gone because you took it.

LOL at tara's comment- especially "left turn signal on the whole way." Haha! Anyway, why do you suppose he's a "real little scot?" could that be a little kilt he's wearing? :D i like this one a lot, one way or the other.

i like to imagine that the old lady died and never returned for the photo... therefore i gave it life. i hadn't been to the site in a while and like the new format.

Was it a Lost and FOund box? Or a box specifically for Found photos, like this website but in real life? If so, that's a pretty cool Walmart! Much cooler than the local one here.

If it was a "lost and found" box, that's kinda like stealing, I hate to tell you.

lost in the picture maker
does that little baby have a lipstick kiss print on his cheek?

Eric, you say "used to", indicating that you no longer do that, but if you do, you need to stop your fun little hobby immediately.

The Found photos in that box were the pics that absent minded or distracted people left either in the Pitcure Maker or with the staff, and forgot to reclaim. Perhaps they were distracted because they were there at the picture maker getting copies of this old pic for her brother's funeral/memorial or something. You have someone else's family treasure in your possession. boooooo. (I say this lovingly, but in all seriousness.)

Good find, bad way to come across "finds"

I love this find!!! I never got to meet my grandmother but I have one old photo of her. The lady in this picture looks so much like her that I almost wanted to believe it but I don't know who Scot is...my mother didn't have a brother by that name. Also, my grandmother was not from Scotland. She was half cherokee and half German. I do wish this was her though...

I love, love, love this photo. Look at that proud big sister, primping the pillow and needing to be 'hands-on.' My daughter was that way when we adopted her baby sister, very hands-on and involved. And the mom looks classy and proud of that healthy baby boy. Do you think this photo would be late 50's? I bet someone copied/enlarged it for a scrapbooking project. That's a huge hobby these days for many people, including myself.

Clover, not in Walmart
I don't shop Walmart, but I love the idea of found photos. I wish I could look through the box. What a concept.

If he is in fact a real little scot, then this kid isn't wearing a diaper...
