We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
This reminds me of two boys who used to come visit my daughter when they were all in grade school. They would LEAN on the doorbell. It was so annoying! The last time they did it I flung open the door and yelled at them. They never did it again. I totally sympathize with the writer of this note!
Busted!!
This makes me want to ring the doorbell.
This just makes me picture Paul and Olivia taking the note down and crumpling it up, then ringing the doorbell and running off.
@#$% @#*
Ha, thats my cousin and his girlfriends names...i wonder if it was them?
I once spotted two girls in my neighborhood running around ringing doorbells and then running away. They sure were having a good time...but I got angry because I knew one of the houses housed a very sick husband and his very old wife. It made me really think about having fun at someone elses expense.
Sounds like my neighborhood. Love it!
ha ha ha very funny seriously
Paul and Olivia sound like little brats! That said, my friend Erica and I used to do that in her condo complex about 20 years ago now. Back then, it was hilarious, but now that I got all old and ornery, I'd be furious if some neighborhood youths did that to me! I'D be calling their parents!!
These folks got off easy. Paul and Olivia usually leave flaming bags of dog crap at my house. And one time Olivia carjacked my husband for crack money.
Diane, you're tellin' me...Those litle shits are constantly putting firecrackers into any little crevice near my house that they canfind, and last week they left a cherry bomb in my mailbox!
she's glad she doesn't live in Diane & Lola's neighbourhood
One evening when I was young, 2 kids rang our doorbell repeatedly and hid behind a car parked in front of our house. Finally, my Dad ran outside in his stocking feet and grabbed them and dragged them into our house. He made us watch as he read these 2 now sniveling kids the riot act. For what seemed like an hour! And he thanked them for teaching his own children a good lesson in not being a practical joker.
He dragged them? thats not good!!! though it sounds like something my dad would do :)
I'm sure he was drunk. He so would have had charges pressed on him if he'd done that today. But he taught us and them a lesson.
bahaha hilarious
I want to ring that doorbell...and run away... and then maybe come back and do it again.
We have two little kids that deliver the newspapers in our neighborhood. Recently we got a new lock for the front door with a number code to unlock it. The newspaper kids cannot help themselves! Everytime they bring the paper they press the buttons on the lock and run away. I'm gonna wait on the other side of the door and jump out and scare them next time.
