We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
this might be john wayne gacy before he discovered the clown get up!
ARE YOU A TRICKER OR A TREATER?
LOL! i LOVE this one!
Did no one else get the Harry Potter comment?? Or am I the only nerd here...
No, I definately got the Harry Potter comment, too. Nerds unite! LOL!
This picture makes me sad. Like hurt-my-heart sad. I'm not sure why.
oh man that's classic
Laurie, maybe because her eyes are so sad looking? She doesn't look very excited or happy to be dressed up.
Maybe she is going to a satanic ritual to be sacrificed. Now that would make me unhappy too.
i think she's disappointed by something, like she's going to a costume party for work and this guy is going to be there who has rejected her offer for a steamy office romance, and offer that took years of building up courage.
I loved the harry potter comment, but perhaps loved the satanic ritual comment even more
Maybe the person TAKING the picture has on the same costume, and, this lady is biting her tongue & mumbling in her head:
"Stupid...it was MY idea to be a...can't trust her for anything...[in a high pitched mocking voice] 'Oh my, what a surprise! Can I take your picture? It'll be a hoot'...I'll give you something to take a picture of, you...!"
Er, on the left side of the cloak (from her perspective) is a design that looks a LOT like Strong Bad from homestarrunner.com...
Halloween use to be a lot scarier
I haven't laughed out loud in a long time...until I saw this picture.
I don't think she looks sad, so much as annoyed to be posing for the picture. There are lots of pictures of me with that same expression, particularly when my Dad was the photographer and using one of those lenses that you have to focus yourself. UGH!
The first comment said it all. This picture gives me the creeps. But I like the costume.
I love this picture... I totally got the Harry Potter comment too! Yeah geeks! Man I remember those horrible plastic smock costumes, thats probably why she looks sad, cause its itchy!
Same Finder as yesterday.

i definitely thought that was a guy.
Actually 3 finds in a row. Mitch O is a finding God. But I wish he'd provide more information as to the circumstances surrounding his Finds. Where did he find this?
For the record, and for those of you wondering, I contacted Mitch O via Myspace and asked him if he could provide any additional information on his Finds (when, where how, etc). His response was that it was so long ago, he couldn't really remember specifically, but that the pics had probably been Found in books from flea markets or some such, around the Chicago area. (and from his pics, it looks like he hits plenty of flea markets! fascinating bric-a-brac!!)
Does this one really come from 2001? I've never seen it before, but I like it a lot!
This makes me sad.
It's sad and so is she, I think she knows that she shouldn't be wearing that.
BOO!
She does look sad. :-(
Hey, it's that crazy bitch from "Misery" dressed up as a Halloween KKK witch!
She is so cute. And she looks happy to me, kinda like she really enjoys dressing up but can't do it that often because it's not an adult thing to do. Look at her smile. It's so small and innocent.
That's the coolest cloak I've ever seen. I want one!
This pic makes me sad for some reason too.
I am imagining it's an elementary school teacher, circa 1940's or 1950's. She got dressed up for Halloween with the rest of her kids, and really this is the only costume she could find, but it doesnt really matter how good your costume looks, how much money you spent on it....it's all about having a fun day. Just the cloak, hat, costume..everything..you just dont see people dress up like that for halloween anymore. Times have changed
I think it's sad because that type of thing does not go on anymore in schools. Now they have "Fall Festivals" and are trying to be too P.C. with everything. Nothing scary, demon or witch related....Halloween just isnt as fun as it used to be
Oh...and MELLO IN BURQUE
Nice to see some fellow ABQ people on here :)
Born and Raised in NM until I loved to Detroit!!
So Are You A Male Or A Female?
This really gives me the creeps. I'm talkin' goosebumps covering my arms, a chill running down my spine. I often see it featured at the bottom of the page... I finally got up the courage to face it! Maybe now it will go away?
@wonder: hahahaha!
