Crossing the Delaware

I found this outside an elementary school. I like to think it's a preliminary outline of some kid's ambitious, world-altering plot.

We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
This is probably one of my favorite "finds." I'd love to know why that list was made. . . in that order. . .
Chrildren never cease to amaze me.

When I was in elementary school, the teacher let us choose our own project (something along the lines of a posterboard and a short paper) topics. I made lists similar to this.
My project was about Musk Oxen.
What could,The Delware,Snakes,Wolves,Space, and The Century possibly all have in common????

I laughed SO HARD.
What the world needs now is more wolves' space. If we have to cross the Delaware to do it--so be it!!

So, I had a roommate that is a social worker and he used to bring "client" art home all the time and it looked a lot like this list. I'm not so sure a kid had anything to do with this.
