Why itemize? Just kill.
After all, isn't that what happened in 9-11? People were killed, so now let's kill everyone else. I'm more concerned that the Clinton's are targeted by this decree of mental illness.
I shouldn't get too concerned, it's just a welcome note for our sailors.

I don't agree because the writer sees killing as the solution to everything. Sure, there are things on the list that I don't like, but a killing spree won't fix anything. That's how terrorists do things.

Be glad we have those sailors & marines for fleet week. You people talking smack about servicemembers would be the first ones dragged out of bed in the middle of the night taken down to the football field and put to death if the radical muslims had their way!

Doctor Germ sounds like a villain from a cheesy children's educational comic about hygiene.

And I find it amusing that this person felt they needed to distinguish between shoe-bombers and briefcase-bombers. All others hiding bombs in their accessories are fine, however.

You are all taking this literally. It think the author means it figuratively. One can't really 'kill' a green card. Or anthrax. Or terror. Only three of the items are actual people. But they are people who represent something. I think the author wants these *things* wiped out and, frankly, I see nothing wrong with wanting the death of terror and evil and germs and kidnappers and carjackers, etc. I may not agree 100%, but for the most part ...

first umm this person is VERY narrow minded and obviously extremely sick. But I'm from new york city and I was as close to 9/11 as anyone. It was scary but i don't blame it on Islam. I see it more as the radical interpretations of a religion. If you think about it, all religions...if interpreted TOO literally and TOO radically can potentially lead people to do incredibly horrible things. I mean...look at the crusades way back when...that was a "holy war". Who says that all but one religion should be abolished? crazy people.

Ok, ok... you all most likely have it all wrong. Think about it for a second like this... Marines (and on the rare occasion, the Navy folk) are running around every morning around 0530 for about an hour all sounding off to running cadence led by the guy up front. That guy will then call out someone else to lead in cadence. It sometimes rhymes and goes along a set pattern of shouts almost like lyrics to a song or lines of a poem. This looks to me like a list of things to add to a cadence... you know, the variables. It was probably one Jarhead's notes of what to add to a cadence he learned. At least that's what it seems to an ex-Jarhead like me.

Many of you take it much too seriously, but mostly because you don't understand the context. There are a lot of disturbing military cadences out there that are seen as funny by the runners when they are made to repeat it just because its so ridiculous. It seems to me to poke fun at certain mindsets.

yodler66 no one is talking smack about service members. You are a gun slinging, right winger moron! BTW my husband is currently deployed so don't even try to talk to me about pride in our servicemembers. Some of my closest friends and family members are serving right now and have served. I am extremely thankful for all who have served and sacrificed for this country. I realize freedom isn't free but leave Bill and Hill alone!!! (and Britany too lol). OH, and kiss my ass too! I find this note disturbing but I guess it could be a cadence although it is a little extreme. Phil from DC you're pretty funny. Write for Leno much? All I can say is defending our country and freedom is a good thing. Perpetuating the U.S. war monger stereotype is a bad thing. HOOAH!

Dr Germ is a nickname given to Dr. Rihab Rashid Taha al-Azawi who was an Iraqi microbiologist working for Saddam Husseins chemical weapons program. She was detained, and was the reason why Kenneth Bigley was beheaded (insurgents called for the release of women from Abu Ghraib or else they would kill him). She was eventually released though w/o charge. I find it interesting considering that the Iraq war was based on removing a WMD threat that they would release a woman charged for being part of the so called Iraqs WMD program.

whichever point of view it's coming from I think it's a very interesting note. What's more important than the note is the discussion here, there seem to be a few of us who have gotten carried away, shouldn't we all be able to talk about our opinions without jumping on each other? Isn't that what free speech is all about.
I compliment this note for how it has made the people who have seen it think.

The first thing I'd like to point out is, um, hi... this is evidence and should be turned over to somebody... somewhere.

I'm not a big "Clinton" fan, but I'm pretty sure any paper with that line written on it would like to be examined by, well, somebody that is paid to determine the validity of such things.

My own opinion is teetering.

The prose suggests something anthem-ish... such as a speech, poem, lyrics, etc... which could easily be pushed off as satirical.

However, the flag is what immediately draws my eye. (After the kill, kill, kill, ad infinitum.)

Short story: I'm an artist and I used to read G.I. Joe comics (The Baroness is hot, yo). I used to participate in the forums of the current publisher of said comic. Over the matter of a week I watched a single thread grow bigger, and bigger, and bigger. Initially I didn't read the thread because its topic was something I found extremely lame. But as the posts grew out of control curiosity set in and I began reading it. Somebody was EXTREMELY angry that in the comics, the U.S. Flags in the background were "inaccurately depicted". you see, they didn't have the correct number of stripes... stars... nor bars. Well, it turns out that A LOT of nut-jobs were EXTREMELY upset over this. As an artist, this blew my mind. Artists "depict" things, they don't draw technical schematics, k? Especially fantasy artists, which is what comic art is mostly comprised of: an abstract on realism. Anyway, it was at this point that I first learned (and have since "verified") that serious people depict serious flags.

Artists typically care about accurately portraying the shape of the flag... getting that perfect rectangle... "Patriots, ex-military, etc... etc...", on the other hand, tend to care more about what's *on* the flag.

With that said, this flag is nearly square... it's misshapen, yet the stripes are exactly as they are supposed to be. The stars, if you observe the left side of the blue, were attempted "correctly" - (5 along the border - a 6th, along the top, is offset, which would have been the first of 4 going down). At some point this person realized they weren't going to be able to accurately cram the 50 in there correctly so they washed over it.

Which makes me lean more towards the "this is legitimate and 'serious'" side of what we're seeing.

While I can't stand an "over-policed" society, The Patriot Act, and most of our Orwellian Social realities... this thing should definitely be turned in to *somebody*.

It doesn't just list groups... it lists two names. Two very prominent names. One of which happens to be a living ex-president... the other of which happens to be a living Presidential front-runner.

It's been awhile since this was posted... was it ever shown to somebody with "credentials"?

You're all wrong. This is how a Liberal imagines a conservative thinks. <--- large L, small c. A conservative would never write that. Period. However, a Liberal would. It's called projection and I see it all the time on the internet. Just visit the most Liberal websites, Huffington Post, Daily Kos, etc. then visit the most conservative sites, Michelle Malkin, Ace of Spades, LGF, and compare writing styles. Check out the comments made to articles and judge for yourselves how people's minds work. Only liberals get this worked up. The comments here pretty much prove my point. You all imagine yourselves to be so lovely and anybody affiliated politically differently than yourselves must be completely opposite your own total loveliness. Ha ha ha ha. What a bunch of dunces. This was written by a person with a bug up their butt about the military and about conservatives in general who they imagine all military personnel to be, a person who attended Fleet Week to agitate.

Then again, I could be wrong, but I doubt it.
