White Box Truck
FOUND by John Harrington in McLean, Virginia
I was walking the dog in a park behind our home and found this card on the ground. Very simple, yet scary in its own right: a drawing of the box truck suspected in the sniper shooting, and the tip line phone number.
Hortense
as soon as I saw that I recogized what it was from. I lived in the area during the sniper shootings, what a nightmare.

Santa in Ashburn VA
I knew exactly what this was too. I live in Northern Virginia and will never forget the terror of living during those shootings.

The Captain
I don't know why this Find has been so blatantly ignored all this time.
I guess no one knows what to say. So I'll say something:

I can't imagine how intimidating it must have been just to go to work, to school, to the grocery store, not knowing who was out there picking people off.. and WHY.

And to everyone who lived in the DC area during that time- (or anywhere else, feeling the fear inspired by such events)- I hope you're not feeling traumatized anymore. For those of you who lost loved ones to such senseless random events, my heart goes out to you.
