Self-Inflicted!

My friend Justin and I found this Post-it when cleaning off the desk of a recently fired co-worker. The circumstances of her leaving were dubious and she was kind of a mystery herself, so this became all the more curious a message to us. I promptly taped it to my desk where it's been the last year or so.

We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
Very interesting. Certainly does seem to be a self-reprimand for something. Note, too, the sharp-looking scribble at the bottom. I'd be interested to know the placement of the note on the desk- was it on top, left for someone like Ben and Justin to come along and find (vindication via telling some portion of the truth), or was it buried, an earlier note about something? Hmmm.
Seems like a declaration. Maybe she got herself fired because she hated her job, but didn't have the guts to quit.

I wonder if this is where Self-Inflicted Haircut got his/her username from.
(and I don't know why this Find has been so ignored, except for the fact that the above comment is really all I could come up with. Lame, I know.. it's just.. interesting but uninspiring.
