Ralph's Note
FOUND by Jennifer in New York, New York
I had been playing my music (which can get pretty odd at times) one night in my apartment. The next day, I woke up to a lot of sounds outside my door. I opened my door to see paramedics taking away my neighbor. He had died, apparently during the night.

Poor Ralph. =-(
I wonder if perhaps some attributing cause to his death was causing him to feel disoriented which the music somehow assisted. His pending death may have caused him to be irritable.

I agree with Kevward - looks like he had a stroke or cardiac while writing his name!

Poor guy.

That must be some odd music you listen to!

This is my all-time favorite find. I love the underlined "IT'S WIERD." RIP Ralph.

People, people! It says "R., sep 1st." He started to turn the "p" the wrong way and then corrected.

Jonathan, in somniac again,
Sad.
Reminds me of the Henry Miller story when his next-door neighbour (who is cracking up anyway) complains about Henry playing Scriabin on his gramophone too loud late at night. But Henry says 'I wasn't playing anything'.
My mum got like that before she died -- complaining about the neighbours when it was all in her head, poor thing.

It sounds like the note was left on Jennifer's door maybe. And she knows the scribbled name was Ralph because it was her neighbor.

and glen in ny, i got the same idea too!

wow. Is this an admission that you killed your neighbor with your wierd music?

Wow, I like the "resquiat" interpretation (even if Sep 1st is more likely). That's freaky.

And people, if he were dying, he wouldn't *write* "aaaaaghhh," he'd just *say* it!

Gosh, I thought her neighbor was "Basquiat" and I was fixin' to be impressed.
Imagine her music would being too weird for him...

Sounds like Ralph was from my neck of the woods, don't it. What was he doin' in the big city?

I killed one of my neighbors once by playing "Torture Never Stops" by Frank Zappa over and over and over all night long. He deserved it.
