I Saw Your Sign

Found on a car displaying a "Peace is Patriotic" sign

Just a reminder... "They" are "us". It's called the human race. Sadly it seems more like a race against humanity. You are not special and neither are the people that died "that day". Everything happens for a reason no matter how shitty it is. You can't take back what "they" did to "us" by killing more people. http://worldcantwait.org

My mom had a "we are united" bumper sticker. She would frequently get notes on her car as she went to the university. Till finally one day someone decided to put a "Share the road" sticker over it. I dont understand how people cant just live with other people's beliefs

My dad was a peacekeeper back in the 80's - he isn't in the military anymore, but still put the magnectic ribbon on his bumper that read "support our troops" - not because he agreed with the war (he doesn't by the way) but becuase he knows what the troops are going through over there and that they are doing it for our well being and comfort - the life we take for granted. He gave up replacing it after it was stolen twice. I wish people would understand that it is a right to display what we want on our cars - and that it makes no statement to hurt a man's soul by removing his own statement.

I wonder if the person who wrote this still feels the same after 4 years of fighting, another 3000 of "us" dead for nothing, finding out that Iraq had no WMDs and of course had nothing to do with 9/11 and that we did in fact start this?

My brother was in the military overseas, not even Iraq, and I had one of those magnetic ribbons on the back of my car to show support for him. My daughter was 3 or 4 at the time, and when it got stolen, she cried until I replaced it. We later traded that car in and forgot the magnet, but the dealership wouldn't give it to me when I went back in for it. She cried again.

Stupid people. Now I want to make them cry.

I used to put lots of bumperstickers on my car, but when I put one that said "Somewhere in Texas, a Village is Missing Its Idiot", someone egged my car. So to avoid repercussions, my car is now stickerless.

Slap those stickers back on! Don't let eggs silence you.

in reference to this, I for a long time I had a problem where I took the patriotic ribbon magnets off cars. I collected thousands. they cover my fridge. If I hurt anyone I am not sorry, they are in a better place.

I agree with what Puckhog said, that website, and others like it, are good places to start reading and researching the truth, not propaganda that is fed to us.
