MOM! Watch out for that lobster!!!
Quick, somebody contact Art Bell! At one o'clock over her shoulder is photographic proof that an alien pod has landed.
@ feeling -- lol! It's all coming together.... That woman is from Compton. This picture was taken moments before Steve (i.e. the Lobster) landed on her, killing her instantly. She was in TX visiting her father, who works for the beef industry THAT SUED OPRAH!! OMG!!
No Magnify button means I don't know if I should say "Hubba Hubba" or not.
@ Jan: it's a street light next to some swamp gas, right in front of a weather balloon. But I'm sure Art Bell will see it differently.
Forget the "note to photographer...."!
Note to woman: get out of my otherwise stunning photo of the beach and pre-storm Galveston skyline.
This lady has one freaky, distorted shadow! It looks like some kind of monster wielding an axe......
@ Precious Memories ... maybe the photo was posted upside down, though. That would mean that the monster itself has an freaky, undistorted shadow.
I think one of the buildings in the background, kind of a mushroom-looking thingy..well, that looks phallic to me.
This is the proof I have been looking for. Laugh at me, will you? All you unbelievers need to start apologizing.
I'll tell you all about it on Coast to Coast AM. Listen for it late at night on a radio near you!
HAHA! Art Bell...kept me awake many late nights as I drove home. Whatever happened to the freaky World Alien Federation guy who used to call every night with a new message for the president?
I wonder if the Found "postee" will ever check back on this?
I would like to know when they found this? When they posted it?
Do they know if it was a beach location in Galveston?
...and how does it all juxtapose post the 2008 hurricane?
It's creepy - both the woman in the pic, the setting and the postee could be 'no more'
Beautiful picture....although the person isn't very visible but that sunset!!!

@Hiplainsdrifter
That is Galveston. I haven't been after Ike, but I'm betting the sea wall isn't that intact.
I hate when I see pictures on this website - it makes me sad to think that owner of the picture didn't care enough to keep it or take care of it so that it wouldn't get lost.... Beautiful picture though.
Hey, wait a minute, isn't she wearing one of those American Apparel exercise outfits???
Somewhere beyond the sea
Somewhere waiting for me
My lover stands on golden sands
and never again I'll go sailing...
Hey, Davy, Jason, James...? would whoever is in charge of the Tee shirt shop please, Please, PLEASE make Stuck on Love one of the designs available?? PLEASE!! I'd upload it myself but I'm not certain the the resolution would work with the t-shirt and I don't want to end up with a big yellow and red, digitized blob on a tee.
It's my Xmas present to MEEEE so .. help me out here, ok? (did I say pretty please?)
NY Times follows up on yesterday's Find!!!
Check out the LOBSTER article in the New York Times, dated 10 December 2008: "Luxury on Sale: The Lobster Glut" By MELISSA CLARK.

@librarian - I hope they are the Blue ones with the white stripes - and not those red disco pants....
@Farmer
We'll meet beyond the shore
We'll kiss beyond the shore
Happy we'll be beyond the shore
And never again I'll go sailing
aww come on.. I'm diggin' those high waisted bright red disco pants.. everybody wants some. I want some toooooo.
Oh, and smallbear- you might be barking up the wrong tree. Farmer's a dude, dude.
@Diamond
As soon as I posted I knew someone was going to misunderstand what I wrote. :-0
It wasn't intended as a come on or flirting or whatever. The lines are simply a continuation of the song Farmer was quoting. It's called "Somewhere beyond the Shore" written by Charles Tenet & Jack Lawrence.
Besides give me credit for being a better writer than that!,those lyrics are corny. If you wish check out some of my past writing efforts here at Found by clicking on some of my fav icons under my profile. :)
Or just check comments under more recent days.
Fooch, are you .. um.. okay today? something on your mind?
Precious memories commented on the one thing that stood out the most to me, too: that intriguing shadow.
the photo subject seems to be performing The Good Ship Lollipop. (lolli po-po?)
Thank you Found Powers! You're awesome! (not many people know just HOW awesome, either. And I ain't tellin')
Did someone mention Art Bell?
HE would say this picture was taken on an alternate universe (maybe like that movie Contact).
Chrome..I'm ok..have been all day! Thanks for asking...I guess I woke up this morning and everything just looked..well...stiff and upright.
I personally think this photo is very romantic. Couldn't tell you why ...
@ Hiplainsdrifter ... Yes, pleeeze, not the red disco pants. They don't even look comfortable.
Really have nothing to add for this find. Just wanted to sign in for once.
Wait! I could begin my birthday countdown. Only 17 shopping days left!
