We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
Well, that's a Mary Englbright note pad. Wonder if Lin decided to give up sniffing glue, or smoking or something like that.
Also where'd the later part of the title come from? Seems rather juvenile.
Here are some words that rhyme with Cory: story, lorry, allegory.
Looks like Cory helped Lin quit drinking/smoking/overeating/other. Unconditional support is hard to find these days.
Yes, Lin, do it for you. Not to please someone else...because you get frustrated and it doesn't last. Until you are doing it for you, it won't get done.
Best of British luck.
dear cory,
thank you for your words (during my induction into the mile high club). you were an excellent teacher to me (because clearly i needed instruction). i am so very sorry i could not be more for you (you know what i mean). you have inspired me to be healthy (airsex is healthy, right?) and i will continue with what i've started (bagging unsuspecting seatmates from whom i can learn the nuances of airplane sex so as not to leave them hard up in a tiny bathroom). i will start taking care of myself for myself (if i cannot find another passenger willing to join me).

Lin honey I'm home!!! ...Lin? Lin where are you? <<<looks around finds Lin's stuff and luggage gone... but no note>>>>
Lin: <<<(to herself on the plane)Oh shit! I forgot to leave Cory the "Dear John" letter that I had so carefully constructed when I was sober and celibate ....>>>
Good luck, Lin.
Good job, Cory.
Well, this is obviously one of those Finds of which the Found Powers should post the other side someday...
On the reverse, the top line does, indeed, appear to say PEN15. (as juvenile as it may seem). There is writing farther down as well, but illegible and unintelligible.
The writing on the back may not be the same work as the lovely example on the side we see-- but that's a tough call since it's printing rather than cursive.
Lin,
I thought I told you never to refer to me as Cory unless we're in our 'special place.' That includes in notes that the school board somehow might find.

I thought (at first) I saw PENIS...then I looked again and read PEN15
the rest this is boring
Lin is a AA model. Cory told her to get out of there, as quick as possible.
Sex slavery is a terrible thing.
funny...i know a girl named cory and her mother's name is lynn.
Librarian- you made me snort.
I was thinking the same thing. :D
Googling the finder just in time for the holidays!
@ Mom ... I don't consider my day complete unless I've made someone snort. Thanx.
I'm confused by the PEN15 inclusion...?
I learned a lot from cory. I wish that he'd forgive me. I'm sorry, and i'll always love you.
Please don't try to find me. I've joined another health club on a coast far far away.

The PEN15 is on the back of the note, which wasn't posted. I thought the earnestness of the front was nicely juxtaposed against the juvenile nature of the back. Any way we could get a link to an image of the back?
