We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
How poignant. I *really* want to know in what context these were written. I can picture a child asking mom for something via note because they're in church... And then asking again, because she said "no."
About 6 years ago(give or take) my sister pleaded my parents something- I think it might have been to go to some coed slumber party or for a bike or something. Anyways, after she was denied, she gathered post-its, notepads, and pieces of paper and wrote 'please' on every single one, then stuck them around our house. Up the stairs, on the windows, etc.
It didn't work (my parents grounded her) but I thought you might like to know. This is probably something like that, or, who knows, even one of the notes she wrote. She's 18 now.
It's strange when all that your heart wants to say, but just can't, can be summed up in one word repeated over and over again.
Is it not a word-play "Please please" in like: Please please me. Hihi. I like it.
If they had just kept walking, they might have found "Thank You" "Thank you" in the next block.
Maybe it was just a kid asking. But we'll never know that, will we?
..Me, Oh yeah, Like I please you....
I'm a naughty note-writer, and to be honest, thats what I think it is. A couple of teenagers, bored in English having a very intent discussion. Perhaps one wanted the other to buy her some lunch? or to give her her sandwiches? or let her go out with her brother?
maybe it's like a note like "follow the trail of begging" or something
haha nice beatles reference
Please, please, don't eat the daisies. Don't eat the daisies, please, please.
"Won't you Please, Please help me, help me, help mee.. oooh.."
