i like this one. makes me wonder if daniel knows the runner.
daniel is very supportive
I am always looking for inspiration to get me to get up and go running in the AM, this note is great. I'm going to put it up on my wall with my other pictures so I can see it every morning.
Maybe Daniel was hoping to pick up a fellow runner. Here's the story...
Daniel is running in the marathon. At the mile 20 rest stop he notices a cute girl just leaving as he arrives. He sees that she is noticably sluggish. He quickly asks the TMG sponsored rest stop attendant for a piece of paper and pen. He takes off with the pen and paper in hand. He sloppily writes his note of encouragement in transit. Daniel catches up with her and hands her the note. She says, "What kind of name is Oaviel?"
After he clarifies the spelling of his name, she then thanks him for "routing" for her and finishes the marathon in the super quick short cut he surreptiously points out while they are running...he goes on to work for The Mediation Group and nurse his shin splints.
A cue card would have been much more effective.
holy moly! that looks exactly like my brothers handwriting, and his name is daniel, but ive never heard of "TMG", and we live in north carolina...
this is so cute.
I love this one!
Anna, maybe it's pronounced 'wave you'll' and his parents were big Yoda fans or something.
I would like to meet Daniel. He seems nice
I love this.
You guys are making me laugh so much with this website. Thanks.
Zarina in AZ..If you need inspiration, go see "Spirit of the Marathon" that has limited showings in theatres. I was bawling by the opening credits and wanted to go run, despite recovering from a broken leg. In the movie, there's a cue card for the marathoners that says "You're all NUTS!" Too funny! I would prefer a note from Daniel, although I doubt the runner could see it through the sweat running in his/her eyes. Thanks for the laugh all.
This is hilarious.
Young Daniel should become a motivational speaker.
This is going to be my desk top from now on. I also run in the mornings. . .
