We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
Congratulations, Salome Mist, for succeeding where others had failed!
It appears someone originally wrote #1, forgetting they already had a child, then tried to turn it into a 2. Poor kid #1. Well, and #2.
You can't get pregnant from doing it where #2 is.
And don't you just love the little heart over the "e" is "Yes"? Except, wait a minute, it's the lower case "i" that gets the dot, isn't it? Maybe the heart just means she 'really wants' the pregnancy.
1...2...3...NOT IT!
(Hey Chrome Toaster! Do you see the Indie Click ad for the Chrome messenger bag?) --->
@Hiplainsdrifter: That´s a good one!
Do you guys think this was made with those Magic Markers? They write in one colour but when you use the white one on top of it, the colour changes...
This is her actual ultrasound.
She has 12 little ones on the way. Kermit, that explains the confusion about the #1 vs. #2 issue. It's both numbers on top on each other i.e. #12.
Strange that they are all orange. Maybe they are Umpa-Lumpas.
This note is like she won a prize, like the lottery.
I wonder who was asking the question?
Ja Jeg er gravid hos lort
That extra line forming the little triangle at the bottom of the E in yes is perplexing.
Crayola color change markers- do they have those in Denmark?
Yea, what are those things in Copenhagen, traffic control boxes, or what?
"Yes I'm Pregnant" is a Danish transgender cover band that played the clubs there doing 1980s American pop tunes.
At least they were until their only advertisement for their second album mysteriously disappeared from the Copenhagen traffic control box where it had been posted. They never recovered from the resulting financial losses.
I too am carrying a #2, now to find somewhere to go and relieve myself.
Great. Because the world has been in dire need of more taggers sticking their effing stickers to everything.
#2 is referring to her second partner, who was the one who impregnated her, not #1. Just to make that clear, #3.
ugh, I know how she feels; I've been pregnant with number two all morning.
She is announcing her pregnancy to the varsity football team and so they quit pointing fingers who the baby daddy is..she has taken the guess work that it is #2
You wouldn't think that a woman with a child at home would have time to run around town sticking stickers on poles
I laughed when I saw this because I think a woman wrote out the message with an invisible ink Magic Markers, then gave it to the father with a black Magic Marker... he scribbled over the paper and the hidden message was revealed! Surprise!
That is very true
Why would someone run around sticking sticker
whilst being pregnant...?
Perhaps she is the second woman to get pregnant from the same guy!
Shes Number 2?
How many others are there?
My comment has pretty much been told more than once, but here goes anyway:
Sometimes my #2 feels like I've given birth.
Geek, that is so funny! Gotta eat more fiber!
@ Nightingale, I haven't seen the Chrome messenger bag ad.. all I've gotten today is Mirrors (with Keifer Sutherland) the requisite American Apparel ads, and now Domino's 5.55 pizza deal.. I'll look out for it, though. (something to carry the Toastmaster in, perhaps?)
looks like someone got up to go lay down
@just me in my house.. that cracks me up!
I can understand being overjoyed at a pregnancy (I guess), but a traffic control/whatever box is a strange place to post an anonymous announcement. Unless baby's daddy is a traffic cop, and even so.
Unless daddy was given the announcement as in Becca's scenario (which would indicate a youngish sort of mummy, who would find this amusing) and daddy's reaction was to "stick it somewhere". Not a happy augury for maintenance and support, in that case.
I think it's a coded message to her married French traffic cop lover... the Yes with the V and funny E really means:
"Yves, I am pregnant"
BTW, this is rather late, but why is a Find from Copenhagen written in English? I know many Danes speak it but why not in Danish? Of course, if it were in Danish we couldn't read it, most of us.
Oh wow, this was finally posted!
A little update: shortly after I sent this in I saw another sticker on a post box across the street from where I found the first one (on Jagtvej in Nørrebro). It's almost identical to the first but the message is in Danish "Jeg er gravid". I couldn't peel it off because it was all cut up but I took a picture of it with my phone.
