Best Song of the Year
FOUND by Paul Spencer in St. Paul, Minnesota
While waiting in line at the post office I found this post-it note among some debris on the counter where people prepare their packages. A moment later a very, very old Asian man, having just sent a package, came slowly down along the counter. He stopped where the debris was and casually poked at it and moved on. It didn't occur to me until later that it may have been his note.

This looks like a 'note to self' for a "poor man's copyright" in which the person sends a copy of the material to his own address and leaves it unopened should there be any future dispute on who created the original material (verified by unopened package and postmark date). It looks like he/she recorded a song and is sending a copy to john and himself. Whatever the song is, it must be pretty good. Song of the year, maybe!
