Bunnies Gone Bad (On A Catalog Card)
FOUND by Takoma Bibelot in Washington, DC
Found on the sidewalk in front of the Capital Grille, about a block from the Library of Congress, two blocks from the US Capitol. Is that the Capitol Building on the left there, or a spaceship? And are those airplanes fleeing? Attacking? Or just ignoring? And what is that bad bunny hiding behind? Not to mention holding in his bad bunny paws?
Redhead from a Red State
I think Harry Reid did this one..maybe with help from his grandkids?

What is the bunny holding? This are definitely not standard military issue weapons.

There's a lot of pressure to be funny when you are the first to comment. I hope I did ok.

Redhead from a Blue State
Those are OBVIOUSLY weapons of mass destruction.

Shoulda known to look for the bad bunny--he was obviously hiding them.

BAD bunny, bad!

Easter bunnies go bad only on robin's egg blue days. It's the law.

happy in my own little world
This makes me think of the Bunny Suicide books by Andy Riley. Hilarious! Worthy of checking out. The bunnies come up with loads of scenarios to kill themselves.

So I see this bunny as creating an elaborate scheme in which the planes will rife his body with dozens of bullets thus fulfilling this bunny's darkest wish - suicide.

Banana in Our Nation's Capitol
The 'spaceship' described by the finder is definitely the Washington Monument. Looks like the angry bunny is holding some sort of magnets to draw in the aircrafts. <Shudders> I hate rabbits . . .

Banana in Our Nation's Capitol
Correction: I meant the thing in the middle is the W.M. Not sure if the object on the left is the Capitol or an octopus with some sort of missile launcher jutting out of its head

Looking at the bunny's weapons I immediately thought of a new take on the old Hammer and Sickel (sp?) or perhaps the Crescent Moon. I think this bunny has been hobnobbing (or do I mean hop-nopping) with Bunnee the Were Rabbit.

Looks like the bunny is holding a Leg/drumstick in one hand and a carving fork in the other. Pretty sweet little sketch concept if you ask me.

...this does look like bunnee's less fierce, lazy eyed cousin. maybe bunnee is piloting one of the planes, being the more experienced of the two.

Bunny is clearly holding a chainsaw and a sickle.

Oh No!! It's no ordinary bad bunny it the Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog.

Tim: There he is!
King Arthur: Where?
Tim: There!
King Arthur: What? Behind the rabbit?
Tim: It *is* the rabbit!
King Arthur: You silly sod!
Tim: What?
King Arthur: You got us all worked up!
Tim: Well, that's no ordinary rabbit.
King Arthur: Ohh.
Tim: That's the most foul, cruel, and bad-tempered rodent you ever set eyes on!
Sir Robin: You tit! I soiled my armor I was so scared!
Tim: Look, that rabbit's got a vicious streak a mile wide! It's a killer!
Sir Galahad: Get stuffed!
Tim: He'll do you up a treat, mate.
Sir Galahad: Oh, yeah?
Sir Robin: You manky Scots git!
Tim: I'm warning you!
Sir Robin: What's he do? Nibble your bum?
Tim: He's got huge, sharp... er... He can leap about. Look at the bones!
King Arthur: Go on, Bors. Chop his head off!
Sir Bors: Right! Silly little bleeder. One rabbit stew comin' right up!

I am in awe. Truly. Awe.
Hooray for Bunneeeeeee!

This Find is awesome.. but even better is that it appears that we got BOTH front and back of a Find! Thanks, guys!

The unidentified flying object on the left appears to be a one-eared bunny coming in for a landing. Maybe that's the good, HERO bunny, coming to defeat the bunny gone bad (having already lost one ear to the evil one during their last encounter).

Geek NOT in My Mom's Basement
I love this drawing, but I'm confused. It says bunnies gone bad, but there's only one bunnie in the drawing. It should say "Bunnie gone bad" or else show at least two bunnies.

Am I being too picky?

@ Geek

There is one bunny on the rooftop and one flying through the sky (superman style). Clearly, these are magical bunnies.

Maybe they're possessed.

(Good) Bunny in La La Land
So I pick another name (formerly teacher in the classroom, but that was taken) and now I'm being called "bad." I can't win!

This bunny reminds me of those pop art Dunnies or whatever. I think I might have one somewhere that's holding a sack of money and has a mask over his eyes.

You know, I really would like to have heard the narration that the kid gave as he drew this. I'm imagining it as a long, detailed set of incongruencies (as only a 1st grader can compile).

Looks to me like the Bunny Gone Bad is holding the sun in one hand and the crescent moon in the other. Certain doom for the people of Earth.

I love Love LOVE that Bunny's eyes! So expressive.

(Good) Bunny in LaLa land: fear not. we know that not all bunnies are bad...

But this one's so Bad it's Good. (not unlike Bunnee, already mentioned.)

Is it just me, or does the Washington Monument look like a planarian in this drawing?
+ January 15, 2009 03:18 PM +
it's doomsday all over aga in ..
There are two Washington Monuments- one (with the upper windows) in the foreground and one the background behind the domed building. Perhaps the one with the "Windows" is, indeed, a giant planarian from another dimension, in cahoots with the Bunny Gone Bad- here to take over the world and subjugate all mankind.
