List of Petty Annoyances (Back)
FOUND by Peru and Ana in New York City, New York
I found this at a cafe I was working at, sticking out of the trashcan... it was written on some of our order checks, as you can see.
a in ore
Stop drinking wine and coffee? That's crazy talk!

i hate it when people change the context of their lists. This is petty annoyances, isn't it? so, stopping the coffee and wine is a petty annoyance. Stopping Paul from doing something is also a petty annoyance.

and she spelled it judgenmental... is this a subtle sign that the note writer is a Foundian?

Coffee is the magic elixir of life,if I gave it up I would die. Wine on the other hand....

This person's handwriting has quickly become one of my petty annoyances for today.

re: #24 ... If that says "keeping Paul still center in my life", then I'm thinking 'Poor Paul.' But at least he's way down toward the bottom of the "petty annoyances" list and not at the top of the [unwritten, or just unfound?] "major annoyances" list.

Nightingale, hop in g to return from vacation tonight
I love it when Foundisms enter the mainstream vernacular. I'm thinking of starting a dictionary of Foundisms.

1. judgenmental
2. asswhole
3. ovcourse
4. donkey week

What else?

Marlee in in the same place
I am a firm believer of getting it all out there on paper to visualize problems, however messed up it might sound to others - nobody else is supposed to read it anyway.

I just hope for the writer that she is not one of those persons going through life writing these kinds of lists with the same items for years and years without crossing any of them off. Just do it. Problem with that is, that these kinds of lists almost always have long term projects on them by the dozens.... It is easier to write lists once in a while.

Hay, Nightingale, Not to nitpick, but it's "Ovcoarse!" And I think that one came from over there at that social network, not here.. remember? that guy who wants us all to survive the Zombie attack, AND stay away from the crazy old cat ladies.

GLAD TO SEE YOU!! And I hope you return safely and soon! Miss you!!

@ Night - Welcome back (or soon-to-be-back?) - and a GREAT idea for a dictionary of found-isms!

@ MonaLisa right on (squared)!

What a comprehensive list. Wow.

self in my skin
does anyone else think the handwriting changes slightly between the first and second page (maybe even towards the end of the first page, around number 14 on the list)? the ink colour looks a little different, too

Posting under the in fluence...
Well, it's not exactly a Foundism, but what about when someone says *shutters* instead of *shudders!*

It makes me laugh every time. And sometimes I type shutters, too, just for the giggle that's in it. So can we include that in the Found Lexicon?

"Smallen" is the opposite of "biggen."

(only in half seriosity.)
At the end of the Found Dictionary, perhaps we could have a small section for recipes. Like that famous Kool Aid Pie, no-drip popsicles... I know there've been others.

Hi Kat! Hi Clover! Hi Chrome! Hi Camelia! Hi Mona! Hi Baby Basil! Hi Jonathan!

Thanks for the greetings and the Foundisms. I'm going to bookmark this Find to refer to when I get around to that project. Maybe Jason will put it in a blog....

here's another for you
While you were on vacay Alan gave us 'gwee'. Careful, though, you don't want to say it too loud or you might end up with some randy treefrogs looking to you for some action.

I love how it gets more incoherent as it progresses

Char in Denver
What is really funny about this one is that the last thing they wrote was stop drinking coffe and it was found in a trashbin at a cafe.
