We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
aww right! they're selling snakes and dragons! i'm there!
I'll give you 75 cents for the blue star on crack.
I would totally buy that snake, as long as it's friendly.
Dav is one lucky fella. And that blue star on crack isn't going for anything less than a buck fifty.
I think the blue star cut the dragon's tail in half.
How unfortunate.
You have no idea how happy seeing this made me.
Ahhhh the memories. My neighbour's kids putting all the junk toys they didn't want on a card table in the front yard with a sign and wondering why no one stopped their car to buy. Aside from the fact that it was an area with no pedestrian traffic and darn few cars, the prices were exorbitant!
Yard sale today but big trouble tomorrow for the kid who's holding an unauthorized sale of his sister's stuffed animal collection.
I saw a dragon just like that one on Antiques Roadshow, It's a rare Crayola...don't let it go cheap!
Gold stars and blue stars
and old stars and new stars
New stars and old stars
and blue stars and gold stars
Boas and dragons that spit a red flame
These are a few of the things I can name...
I Spy...
fire, one blue star, one snake's tongue, two drangon's wings...
I would totally go to that yard sale, no question.
this is *exactly* how my son drew as a little guy- we would have sales and make all these fantastic signs complete with cartoon characters of us pimping the used tupperware. and matchbox cars. splendid fun!
A snake that got run over by a rocking chair and a dragon with a beak. You can't find that anywhere else!
I'd go to that yard sale in a heartbeat.
I wonder how much they're charging for that sweet dragon. You don't find good dragons like that anymore. Not in the common marketplace.
I'm totally there. That flying platypus is the most valuable Beanie Baby ever made, because there were only 3. And I want to shake the hand of this young artist - s/he is going places.
This is awesome. I totally used to draw stuff like that when I was wee. (I'm happy to say that my skills have progressed since then.)
I should go to this yard sale, I need another dragon to keep Puff company. Maybe I can buy a blue star for them to play with.
Kids are so excited about yard sales. So cute.
buy something, bitch!
Farmer, I will totally have that tune in my head all day!
Also, where was this found? I hope the finder didn't take it down off the lamp post until the sale was over!
I love the drawing.. it looks so sunny-summery. Completely opposite to the view of the lawn today.
Beware the fire-breathing dragon who farts blue stars!!
Banjo has it right. It's a blue fart! Those aren't beaks, they're dangerous flames! That's probably not a start either but a brilliant explosion!
Uh oh. Stars. The kid was abused by the dragon! Call Oprah!
It's always fun to Google the finder.

Nice color combinations. Now if there was a knight at this yard sale I'd be there in a heart beat.
WTG Jonathan! High Pubah! (thanks for that L)
I thought it was a banana at first. Buy something Bitch. Ha Ha.
Robin's selling off all the crap she got for her bday?
I'll bet the kids were selling Kool Aid for 25 cents a cupful, too.
I like how the accidental little dots over the D in today kind of make it look like a happy shouting guy.
:D
You can pay the snake with your soul, but the dragon takes Visa.
ahhhh!! sweet! their selling mythical creatures, i'm totally there!!!
ah the days before we mechanically put the margin to the left and header to the top...
'blue star on crack' = HILARIOUS. and there sure have been a lot of Washington finds lately, huh? i live there, so...
You can order pizza with text messaging now? Cool. Pizza Hut's getting expensive though.
L, yes it is quite interesting the wacky things you can learn about the finders.
"Wacky! It's wacky here! It's really kind of wacky! So, please, buy my wacky novel..."

I'm growing to like this guy in a weird wacky way...thats just wacky.
Hogwarts had a yard sale?
Funniest comment today, Brain Problem!
Farmer, I just got your tune. Nice job.
Farmer, It's Def Leppard's Photograph, right?
But are they actually going to sell the yard?
Or is this another one of those sales where it's used junk from inside the house that they're selling?
I LOVE garage sales and yard sales!!! They're treasure troves of amazing 'FINDS!!!'
This one especially 'cause mom & dad are probably out at church and the kids are selling everything including jewellery, paintings, statues, etc...
Wonderful FIND!!
Scruffy? Is that you?
@ Midlife Crisis in California- Not sure, but if you were asking if I was 'SCRUFFY'...
You've got the wrong gal...:o(
However, when we were growing up my parents bought us, (the family) a grey poodle and we named him 'Scruffy'!!
I'm a lil scruffy sometimes, but I don't breathe fire or have a forked tongue....
Holly, great name for your family's grey poodle and a nice coinky dinky.
I meant "Scruffy, the Space Horse":

Nightingale, I love it when you take wing and breathe fire.
Oh. THAT Scruffy. That was before my time. I told you, I don't breathe fire. Well, not since I quit smoking....
Midlife, you never cease to amaze with your knowledge of FOOUND. Thanks for the link!
Zut! How come sometimes when you get an application error (rails) the post doesnt' show up at all, and other times, it shows up too many times? Ah well. I'm extra impressed, I guess.
It's a LIGER!!!
it looks like the same artist from ancient vivi.
Dear Jonathan Shipley,
We share the same last name.
Thought I would let you know.
Sincerely,
Your last name buddy
Amanda Shipley
This made me laugh so so so hard
