Grumpy Puddin
FOUND by Scott Bremer
Puddin wasn't actually lost. It turns out she got mad at her owners and had built a nest under their house.

One word names are just too short to give to a cat and suit them for their whole life in their man and ever changing moods. Our cat's names grow with them until they are 10-20 words long. For example instead of calling her Puddin, She could have been, 'Puddin-Tabby Narcissistic Narcoleptic Fluffy-Grump Pillow-hat'.
That may not make sense to any of you 'normals' out there, but there is really only one name any cat comes to if they come at all, and that is kitty-kitty-kitty.

I would get mad at my owners too if they called me "Puddin"

Puddin got lost in Atlanta (the phone number has a 404 area code). Also, that picture is heinous. How could anyone be expected to figure out what Puddin looks like? I thought her picture was just a smudge made by the photocopier or something.
For some reason, I like the name Puddin. It's kind of cute...

always in between
My oldest cat's name IS "Kiddy". Found her in a grocery store parking lot, was too clean to be a longtime outdoorsy type, and I didn't want to get attached to her if someone claimed her after seeing the posters, ads, etc. -- hence the generic name.
That was 11 years ago. She acts like a conceited little queen to every other creature in the house, but she always greets me at the door when she hears my car. Yep, even when she's not hungry. Then there's my retarded orange tabby, "Dingo". I won't even tell you about him, except that he's been booted out of the feline community.

I don't know what on Earth happened to that picture, but it looks like poor Puddin was squished into a copier machine.

If by though some bad karma I were a cat called Puddin, first I would leave a smelly present on my owner's front doorstep then start a rebellion made up of unfortunately named cats.

voices in your head
as a companion to many cats over the years, i have to mention that they rarely pay too much attention to what people call them; however, they will, almost without exception, answer an electric can opener.

to "a girl in texas" may want to rethink her use of "stupid", as i believe the sender didn't mean a literal nest. besides, where's your found entries???

Is that a picture of the cat or a squashed gerbil?! Oh my. Puddin' probably ran away b/c she was tired of getting her face photocopied. She's really going to hate it when the butt prints start circulating.

I just laughed so hard I cried for five minutes... obese, cantankerous felines just do it for me, I guess.

That flyer is an expression of love. The cat is grumpy, fat, and was inherited, yet they're still searching high and low for Puddin'. And you know you want an apostrophe in your name.

You know that some woman really wanted Puddin' back but didn't have a computer at home to make a sign so her husband had to do it for her at work. (Or vice versa - I believe in househusbands.) Anyway, WHOEVER made the sign CLEARLY didn't want to see the likes of Puddin' again. (Did you see that pic?)
