Lost In America with This American Life

Yup - we're going on the road with our friends from 'This American Life' -- Ira Glass, Sarah Vowell, David Sedaris, and Jonathan Goldstein. In May, we'll bring the FOUND love to Boston, DC, Portland, Denver, and Chicago. Gonna kick out the jams and share our all-time favorite finds. And Portland and Denver folks - we've got special FOUND parties planned on the nights of Thursday, May 15th at Stumptown downtown, and Saturday, May 17th at West Side Books, recognize, dang.

To celebrate the release of his book of short stories, "The Lone Surfer of Montana, Kansas," Davy is headed to 28 cities for a series of lively events. He’ll be joined on the road by two of his all-time favorite finds: his little brother Peter - international heartthrob and frontman for The Poem Adept - and Charlottesville, Virginia, folk prodigy Devon Sproule. At each stop, Davy will read a story and share some of the newest amazing finds that have landed at Found Magazine headquarters, and Peter and Devon will each play a few songs. Found Magazine and the Fast Forward Film Fest present: The Lost Episodes!

We’ve joined forces with the Fast Forward Film Festival to present "The Lost Episodes!" Thirty teams will attempt to make three minute movies in twenty one hours or less. All films will be based on Found photographs that YOU have sent in! Everybody is welcome to join us for the screening in beautiful Chicago, Illinois.
